Despite a slight change in date on my side (the poor tour guide had to wait half an hour for my group the day before), Betty included me and my boys in the next group at short notice. Our (superb) guide Raphi has of course been instructed to hold this against me again and again, but this has not affected the mood. On the contrary, somehow... This was followed by various adventures in five pubs in Freiburg, which I have missed so far as a resident and then a few after-hours drinks and conversations with Betty herself. Suddenly the sun was rising again and the last pub doors were closing. I can’t list everything that happened in between (no, I really can’t), but it leaves the good feeling of a successful evening.
Unfortunately, our tour guide was not very motivated and made it seem as if she wanted to go home much rather. The tour was carried out unlovingly. It was a walk to various pubs, on a very strict schedule with no further information on Freiburg, the pubs or Betty BBQ itself. Not worth it

On Saturday, 14.09.2024 my brother and I are on a pub crawl. The tour was led by Anna, who has long been on the Betty BBQ team. She led us through the evening with a lot of passion, wit and sympathy. It was a great night. There were only four of us but had a blast. There were delicious shots, great bars and entertainments and dance performances with locals and tourists. We might come back next year. The bars are changed over and over again, so it never gets boring.
We took part in the tour on December 30th, 2023 and had a great time. It was a colorful, very nice group. The tour took us to corners and bars that we would never have found or visited otherwise. A really great event and the lovely Sofia (guide) made sure that we got back home (hotel) safely by taxi. Best wishes from Stuttgart!
