Turtle Beach Power Snorkeling Adventure

The driver didn’t show up and didn’t answer the phone after several phone calls. We had a local security officer offer to call for us and finally got an answer and they said they circled around and didn’t see us. Didn’t stop, didn’t get out, no sign . We’re in a foreign country . The security guard said it’s happened before ! They offered to pick us up and take us on a later tour but our ship was sailing in the afternoon. Very disappointed

They arranged pickup for us at the cruise port. The weather was not the best and the water was cloudy but the guide was great and made the best of the situation. Lost him a few times as the waves were high and he dived down a lot. The Power Snorkels worked great and were a lot of fun.

Our tour guides were very friendly and helpful. We arrived and a beautiful cove area where we were greeted with a free drink. They gave us all the equipment we needed and we had personal totes to store our other things. We were given lessons on how to use the equipment and then taken down to the beach where the guides made very sure we were comfortable before taking us out. The waves were a little choppy as we got further out which caused a couple people in our group to get sea sick so we had to head back in, but the guides were right there with us the whole time. We saw several big turtles and beautiful exotic fish. The scooters made it super easy to get around and dive down. It was a great experience.

Really enjoyed this snorkeling adventure. Turtles, small shipwrecks, reefs and the pillars all within about 1-1/2 hrs. Team running this was super friendly. The "scooters" were super easy to use. Highly recommend.

Bernie, Rex and Rennik were amazing guides and Bernie got us to the adventure and back safely in his van! We saw a few turtles as well as sting ray, cuttlefish, puffer fish, parrot fish, doctor fish and an array of other sea life. We also got to explore an underwater shipwreck. It's better if you are a decent swimmer to do this activity, but life belts are available to wear for those who need them. The power scooters were super easy to use and very fun. They also had underwater rings to try to swim through if you wanted to test your skills. If you tend to get motion sickness, I would recommend taking medication prior to this activity such as meclizine (less drowsy) or Bonine. They took plenty of photos and those are included at the end of the activity via a Dropbox link. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend!!

The scooters were great. Although the snorkeling location was only average. Only saw 2 turtles. Being on the Atlantic side, the water was chopping and murky.

Highly recommend this snorkeling experience! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, easy booking process and amazing snorkeling location. We spent a wonderful afternoon swimming with turtles, checking out a shipwreck and exploring the reef and it's many colorful fish.

What a fantastic day we had with our guides, Rex and I’m sorry I forgot how to spell the second guide’s name. They were both FANTASTIC! I have a small head so I brought my own snorkel but this is the first time I’ve had an excursion where the equipment would have been completely fine! They helped me set up my gear. And during the snorkeling, if I fogged up they stopped me to let me know and helped me defog. They helped us find turtles and fish. They took all the pictures so we did t have to worry about it. And the 100% took better pictures than I ever could have. We took the afternoon spot and it wasn’t very crowded. I think the cruise groups were done at that point. So that was a plus. It was a bit chilly but we were fine. It is January after all. I highly recommend!!!!

Excellent experience! It was our first time using snorkeling scooters, very easy (I would describe it as lazy snorkeling)! Great service all around, well worth the price!

I never had power snorkeled before...so much fun! Can change speeds which helps to "dive" down several feet if you desire. Great time. A lot easier (less strenuous) than normal snorkeling.
