View on Google MapsGreat weather and a great hike. Our guide, Kahlil was awesome - he modified the hike at the group’s request and we could not have had a better time. The views were incredible!!
We loved the Carpenters Rock hike with Dwight. We got to see beautiful views, learned a lot about Antigua, and got some exercise. Highly recommend!
Rik was amazing, friendly, funny, knowlageable and overall a great guide.... Able to show me some amazing viewpoints and share some interesting history. I will 100% be doing another tour with Trek Tours and was very happy to find out it is a local company. Thanks also to Shawn for answering my questions before the trip very promptly and helpfully.

Amazing experience of hiking to the Pillars of Hercules! Had a great time with the tour guide who was well aware of the area and paths. Rewarded with beautiful views and amazing overall experience
This is a tremendous way to see the scene of Antigua, outside of your resort! It’s also an opportunity to see where the famed “Shirley Heights” is while getting exercise, and a broader experience of the land and culture. Rick (aka Nando who may have other nick names lol) was a great guide with constant topics of discussion. He also gave great background of the country and culture. Then, the grand finale. Stopped for local beer!! Yummy
Once again the fabulous Dwight led us on an awesome hike to the top of signal hill. We saw wild goats, mongoose, moths, humming birds, hermit crabs and experienced a tropical storm! Altogether a brilliant trip. Thanks trek tours.
As a hiker from north east of the US I always try to attend hikes wherever I travel. In Antigua I chose to hike Obama mountain. The environment is different from what I have at home and it made the hike very interesting. The guide Rick was very attentive and knowledgeable, provided us with a lot of information. There are more trails on the island and it's possible to combine them with snorkeling.
Dwight was our guide. Great communication from booking online to where to find them when we got off our ship. Dwight gave us a great tour while driving to our hiking site. We travelled with 4 ladies aged 12, 14, 44, and 71. We chose the signal hill hike which is listed as hard. We are a fairly in shape crew. It was challenging but fun. Just right. Dwight was very aware of how each of us were doing and took breaks when he saw some of us slowing a bit and gave us some great info about flora and fauna we were seeing. We saw burning lemongrass, lots of goats and amazing views. We were picked up at 8am and were back at the boat around 11:30. Total hike time was about 2 hours. The drive back we took a different routes so we could see more of the island.
Had a top tier time with Rick!! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took us through a beautiful view of the island one doesn’t always see. I’ll definitely be returning.
We did the Carpenter’s Rock hike, which is labeled as “hard”. It definitely had some challenging pieces, but nothing that would cause most people to much trouble. Our guide, Ric, was amazing, sharing information about the island from the time he picked us up at our resort to the time he dropped us off. The views were amazing! This is a great way to get some exercise and see some of the island.
