We were offered hot chocolate, blankets, and even gloves if needed! Our tour guide, Josh, made the trip a “once in a lifetime” experience! He was so knowledgeable about literally everything! The views were absolutely breathtaking and we even got to go sledding! I would go on this trip daily if I lived in Colorado. Save time to stay in the town if Estes, it was stunning! We’d go back again and again! Thank you for the memories!!!
CE it was a great tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. He knew all the best spots to take us to and we learned so much about Rocky Mountain national Park even after having been here many in the past.

We had CE as our guide, and had such a blast! He was so pleasant, engaging, and knowledgeable, and made our trip so incredibly special. This was by far one of the best ways to experience the majesty of the Rockies!

My wife and I took an excursion through Rocky Mountain National Park on January 9, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We booked with Wildside 4x4 Tours, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our guide, Royce, made the day unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the park. Throughout the drive, he shared fascinating insights about the landscape, wildlife, and history of the area — all while keeping the ride fun, relaxed, and full of great energy. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring with a friend who knows every hidden corner of the Rockies. The route was beautiful, the vehicle was comfortable, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated. If you’re visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and want a mix of adventure, scenery, and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend Wildside 4x4 Tours — and definitely ask for Royce. We left with amazing memories and a deeper appreciation for the park.
What a glorious experience. Our guide Royce, was so knowledgeable and fun! The ride was so warm and comfortable. We saw a glorious winter landscape. Somethings out of storybook. I cannot recommend seeing the park this way…sledding, frozen waterfalls, hot cocoa in hand. Do your self a favor…take the trip!
Let me preface this review by saying I usually don’t go for these kind of tours, but after meeting Cochise I knew I had to do this and I’m so glad I did! Cochise provided the most incredible and elevated experience and made me feel like family! We toured around the length of the park, saw rare wildlife sightings and Cochise was just a wealth of information. The tour was beautiful from start to finish and was the perfect length of time. There was plenty of room in the jeep and it was not crowded at all. It is absolutely worth the price of admission. I have never seen a jeep tour bus like this and the ability to experience panoramic views from the park while sipping hot cocoa under a warm blanket is unforgettable! I can now say I’ve been sledding in RMNP! This tour is great for anyone; from families to couples or just if you want to go solo like I did! Cochise made the experience unforgettable and I cannot recommend him enough. Such a beautiful experience all thanks to Cochise’s expertise and hospitality. He ended the trip with a beautiful song deeply rooted in his indigenous culture in the mountains that was a beautifully unique addition to the trip and great way to top off the tour. Praise for the beauty of the mountains!
My whole family had such a great trip! Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and responsive to the level of information we wanted as we went. I wish we did this on our first day so we could use all his great tips. Instead, we will be heading back to Estes as soon as we can!
Highly recommend this tour!! This tour was absolutely the BEST tour we could’ve booked this holiday season. We were on the winter wonderland tour and part of the badger group. We had Mr. Joe as our tour guide and he was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. We had so much fun sledding and even got to walk on a frozen lake.
