View on Google MapsSuper nice to discover the hidden side of Champagne and the champagne houses and their history. Ballad commented with professionalism. Stop in the vineyards to take nice pictures and learn more about the making of this sparkling nectare. Marcel, our "speedster" was really cute. The icing on the cake: tasting in the middle of a hill and practising sabering. Our two little hairs, our dachshunds (Malô- Bern and Igor) were there and they also enjoyed it.
Very sympathetic lady who provided us with "Marcel" in an understandable way solid explanation about the champagne region. Since we visit regularly, the lady also adapted and showed us new things. We thought it was pretty pricey for what we got. We expected at least a tasting in the fields (even if it was only 1 glass) and the other 2 glasses at a different location each time. Now you immediately got a plateau with 3 glasses per person.
A nice afternoon with lots of information about the champagne. Now at least I know why it is so expensive ;-). Our guide was super nice. It was definitely worth it !

The tour was very enjoyable. Our lady tour guide was very pleasant and made the tour super relaxed and fun. We learned about the champagne process standing in the middle of beautiful golden color vineyards, and next we visited a small champagne house where we went down into the cellar. At the end of the visit, we had a tasting of several champagne bottles and the liquor produced by the same house. The vehicle was a super cute vintage Renault named Gaston : ) Highly recommended
a day a little special in terms of weather (light rain and wind). But a magical walk when discovering a countryside in which I worked for more than 30 years. I have travelled thousands of kilometers and made incredible new views. well led by our very kind and competent driver. Cutting champagne is fabulous.
Our adorable guide took us to champagne producing area called Epernay and clearly explained production of champagne. We also got to taste champagne in a family owned winery.
Super fun and educational and pleasant afternoon had. You go with a vintage bus along the vineyards and get explanations at a small champagne farmer. In combination with visit to the big wineries highly recommended !
This was a fantastic trip from start to finish. Our guide Anaïs (I hope the spelling is correct) was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun and a great driver. She introduced our vintage van as Gaston and got us chatting with the other 5 in our group. The stop in the vines and view over the countryside was so much better than being in the centre of Epernay. Anaïs told us what we needed to know at just the right time. We stopped at a small village Champagne house for a short tour of the cellars and a tasting. The staff were informal and engaging and they had a good rapport with our guide. We had wonderful sunshine and the countryside was very peaceful. We were dropped off with some tips for places to eat in Epernay. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Very interesting and informative. The only problem is that I imagined that we would visit other champagne producing homes. In the end, it was just one.
This was a fantastic tour - the driver was informative and enthusiastic, the old bus great fun and we visited some smaller wine houses which we would never have found ourselves. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
