Tea Experience Tour in Haputale with Lunch at a Village house

A very enjoyable tour with Dinuka! He was great fun and very informative. The tour guide at the Tea Factory was also very knowledgeable and patient. All staff were very welcoming. The lunch at the village house was fabulous! The only disappointment was the weather but we still had a fantastic day.

This tour was recommended by a good friend of mine and I too wanted to try it. It was an awesome experience!! I enjoyed every bit of it. The hospitality was so heartwarming!! And the view 🤩🤩🤩!!! I was a solo traveler, but I felt very safe!! I definitely recommend this tour!!!

This day was one of the highlights of our trip! Walking through the tea fields and little village felt so real and unspoiled - we met locals,learned about the plants, and just soaked in the atmosphere. Dinu was amazing: funny, full of knowledge about nature, and kept surprising us throughout the day. It never felt touristy, just full of heart and genuine. Highly recommend !

Very interesting and autenthic visit to tea factory, tea plantage are and a walk to a few villages. Dinuka was a fantastic guide. So much energy, so interesting and a very nice person. He told us everything about tea-plantagen, plants and village life in Ella. He aslo took us to a day-care center for children, whos mothers were picking tea-leaves. We had delicious lunch with a family in a village. We highly recommend this tour.

It was my second tour with Boney and Dinu and it was even better than the first one! I had an interesting tour trough a tea factory just for myself and the possibility to walk down trough a tea plantation with amazing views to a little village where I had the best lunch during my whole stay in a house of a local family and a visit of 2 different temples. I was the only tourist during the whole day at every place we were visiting and it was the best escape from the crowds you could as for!

This is the most fun we have done this holiday! You will get an insight into the tea factory with a clear explanation. Then we did a beautiful walking tour through the tea fields. It's more than the tea, it's also an experience. You see village life and the vegetables they grow, real life outside the cities. Our guide was helpful and knew a lot to tell. Definitely recommended!

This tour is so worth it! Haputale area is beautiful, tea plantations everywhere… Dinuka, my guide, was super attentive and kind. He brought water, sweets and tea to drink during our field walk and had a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna arround. Totally recommend it!!

Dinuka is a fantastic guide. He knows a lot about everything here, because he was born here too. The great thing about this tour is the personal attention and time you have. So no commercial tour where as many people as possible are put in a group. Here you get all the time and all your questions are answered. Also in the factory you get to see the whole process, so no secrets.
