Edinburgh: East Lothian Highlights

The tour was very informative and the different stations were well chosen. You have had a nice change from castles and viewpoints or opportunity to see the landscapes or in this case the sea. The recommendation of our tour guide Deborah to the North Berwick Fry restaurant was sensational as the fish and chips tasted very good to us. Here again an explicit praise to our humorous and dedicated tour guide Deborah, she has been able to make the day entertaining for us with lots of interesting information even off the tour. Our school English was perfectly sufficient to understand them. Gladly again with Deborah.

If you want a dive into Scottish history while having causal, personal and hilarious time, this is one of the best tours out there! Our rainy day tour was made phenomenal by our guide Deborah, who managed to take us to all the right spots despite the rain and then some. She pivoted when a location was closed, she drove us down country road to uniquely Scottish sites that we would never have otherwise know about, she played great music and shared her love of the Lothian countrywide. And when she was done we were in love too! Easy to book, easy pickup and drop off in beautiful, well maintained vehicle. Perfect for small groups or couples interested in more than just the big sites. 100% recommend Stewart Tours, the only company we will books with next time we visit Scotland!

Such a great, informative tour. I loved having free time to walk around North Berwick, unrushed. No visit was rushed and we even managed to squeeze in some highland cow sightings.

Very nice tour on the Lothian coast and Dirleton and Tantallon castles. The beautiful Tantallon Castle. A breathtaking view of the North Sea that I will not easily forget. The village of North Berwick beautiful but we stopped too little as well as for Tantallon Castle. Maybe we should have been given more time because we visited all the places with excessive haste .. The guide Phil however was very good, welcoming and prepared. The vehicle that accompanied us in very comfortable movements. It made our day very pleasant! An experience to do absolutely! It was a wonderful experience, accompanied by a wonderful day to be on 30/11. All the stops were a discovery, but special mention for Tantallon Castle, a must see! The only flaw, little time for this stage, I recommend providing a longer duration. Our guide, Phil, was fantastic, helpful and courteous and told us many anecdotes while moving between the various stages of the tour. I also loved the stops at the beach... pure nature. Tour absolutely to try.

This is a tour that can't be found anywhere else. Another side of Scotland with nice fishing villages and beautiful castles. All under a nice pace and nice guidance. We had Deborah and she showed us a lot of beautiful places together with another couple and told us a lot. Highly recommended if you are looking for something else.
