Distill a Bottle of Rum on mini copper stills

Interactive and interesting experience. Gary, the experience guy, was extremely knowledgeable, personable and put everyone at ease, which is important when you are about to spend 3 hours with complete strangers. Gary was able to explain everything in minute detail and clearly displayed his excellent knowledge of rums, gins and the various ingredients that made the drinks up. Trying the different rums was fun, although the crowning piece was being able to choose all your ingredients to be distilled into your very own, unique rum. Highly recommend this experience.

Very enjoyable afternoon with a knowledgeable and engaging host. A huge range of ingredients and Gary has a fine nose for what works. We left with a bottle of rum, some new knowledge and a potential future hobby. Very generous with expertise and measures!

Brilliant way to spend an afternoon. Great fun and informative experience. Not only did we learn about distillation but flavour profiles including fruits, herbs and spices. Gary was great at answering any questions and you felt at ease asking even the most basic ones! You were also treated to a couple of cocktails while learning the whole process through Gary's funny Irish charm. Hosted in the basement of a lovely old fashioned pub in the middle of Edinburgh. Would recommend this to anyone interested in making your own flavoured recipe - my friend and I made a Christmas rum and the other couple of guys made a Christmas gin. It would be a great present for a friend or family member or like I did, do it together with them.

I was given this voucher as a birthday gift. Distilling was done in a cosy wee room. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. It was great being able to smell the different herbs and spices and pick the ones that you liked to go into your rum. Once distilled it is measured for proof then bottled with a wax seal. An amazing experience with a great host. Well worth giving it a try

We had the most wonderful time, genuine, friendly, informative, fun, there are not enough words to describe. At the end you will bring home your iwn bottle of Rum, the only one there is. 😊🥃 Well worth a visit, book long in advance. The class is only maximum of 6 persons. Highly recommended

Excellent experience with a fun and friendly host. If you love your rum this is definitely not to be missed. We learned all about the different ingredients and process and then got to try it out ourselves, leaving with our own unique drink, labelled and sealed with wax. Highly recommend!

What a great experience at Sip Antics Edinburgh. Treated by my friend as a gift the 3 hours was packed with Rum tastings and the history of Rum delivered exceptionally by Neil our host. Finishing with us creating our very own unique to your taste bottle of Rum. Would thoroughly recommend it as a gift to yourself or a loved one

It was an amazing afternoon, Neil was an amazing host from start to finish, would highly recommend this as he goes above and beyond for his guests, and the outcome is an amazing gift to take away from this day, will be going back for the Gin experience next
