We got to see incredible sights such as the Mogao Buddhist caves, the Han dynasty Great Wall and some associated building remains, the Yadan rock forms, the sand mountains. The guides spoke reasonably good English, were friendly, helpful, and flexible. For example, we had an afternoon rest one day as it was so hot, and carried on the tour in the early evening when it was more comfortable. We also got to ride camels on the sand mountains as if we part of a Silk Road caravan. 🐫🐫🐫
