View on Google MapsIf you want to see the natural beauty of the world, this is one of the top adventures you should do during your life. We've been on safaris in Africa, explored Antarctica, trekked through remote areas of the Amazon jungle, and this ranks as one of our top experiences. Even though we spent only 1 night in Corcovado Sirena Station, we saw more animals in that short period of time thanks so our remarkable guide, Alonso Morales. Alonso could spot animals hidden across rivers and behind massive clumps of trees that we would never have seen without his guidance. Plus, as a biologist, his knowledge of the animals is amazing! When we first arrived, Alonso asked us what we wanted to see and we gave him a list of some hard-to-find-animals, like the anteater and tapir. He worked hard to track down animals so that we saw everything on our list and much more, including beautiful toucans, caymans, spider and howler monkeys swinging through trees, a capybara, a boa constrictor, a crocodile, wild pigs and much more. I love birds but don't know much about them. Alonso spotted so many that I can't even list the number. We highly recommend him. We're glad we stayed overnight as we got to see lots of animals but recommend staying only 1 night as sleeping by lots of people, some of whom wake up early with their lights glowing or who snore, does not make for the most restful sleep. Still, I loved hearing the birdsong and howler monkeys in the morning. The food was very good, and they gave you lots of it. I particularly loved the spaghetti - try both sauces - and the fresh fruit. What a great adventure!

Must-see experience not to be missed when you make Costa Rica for the first time. The overnight stay on site is a plus
My partner and I had an unforgettable experience on this tour. Our guide Donny was incredible, he had great knowledge of the area not just the animals but also the history. It was amazing how he could spot the smallest birds, frogs and insects. There are a lot of other places in the world where it feels like the animals are there to make money, we didn’t get that impression here. It felt like the well being of the animals came first and so we didn’t mind paying to support this. For example no outside food is allowed to avoid people feeding the animals and there are park rangers to make sure the rules are being followed. The boat rides there and back are an experience in themselves. It’s a pricey experience but we felt the money was going to support a amazing cause.
This experience is definitely worth the price. You’ll see so much more wildlife if you stay overnight in Corcovado. We had a guide, his name was Donny, who showed us a Tapir mommy feeding her child. We learned so much more than all the guests leaving Sirena in the afternoon on the first day.
The tour was a really a once in a lifetime experience, given the incredible nature. It was very expensive but however was still worth it, as we saw so many different animals we wished to see. Especially for tapirs this part of the forest is perfect. Given the high price everyone seems to pay for sirena, the stay at the lodge and the food were rudimentary and adventurous, which we enjoyed. It felt like being in a Jurassic park movie. However organization wise, things could be communicated better as for example on arrival we expected something to eat as we departed at 5am, something even as small as some fruits before going on the first track, however nothing was there, and it was not communicated that one should eat beforehand. Also communications of the itinerary should improve (receiving an email or a print out would be the minimum) and what was really a bummer was that we were not happy with the guide, as we booked for an English speaking guide who was not properly speaking it. The guide was still kind and a good spotter but yea … Still, I would still suggest this experience as a whole.
It has been tremendously great!! A special experience, not every night you sleep in the middle of the jungle hearing the howler monkeys, the rains, and thousands of birds. The excursions were with Dony. Highly recommended!!! It tastes like a lot and we find all kinds of animals, including crocodiles, coati and tapir!!
This was definitely my favourite part of our time in Costa Rica. Adrian was probably the best guide we have ever had on our many travels. He had so much knowledge and gave non stop information about our surroundings, the country, wildlife, trees etc. We learnt so much, I wish I could remember it all. He was also good company at the times we were not walking and just chatting when we were in the Sirena station. So glad we did the trip.
In March 2025 we participated in the "Sirena Overnight" tour with Corcovado Info Center and we were extremely satisfied! The organization of the tour was impeccable, but what impressed us most was the quality of the service offered, which is truly unparalleled. Our guide, Donny, not only proved highly prepared, but also showed a genuine commitment to animal welfare, passionately conveying to us the importance of respect for local wildlife. His explanations were clear and engaging, and he constantly urged us to behave responsibly towards nature. This philosophy of respect and care for the environment is what distinguishes Corcovado Info Center from the other agencies we met during the excursion. For those who want an authentic, high-quality experience, we strongly recommend booking a day or overnight excursion to Corcovado National Park with them, or participating in other activities they offer. An experience that will remain in your heart! ♥️
Booked our overnight stay to Corcovado NP with the Corcovado Info Centre and they were great! Helpful and patient, they sent us on our way with guide William, who was kind and enthusiastic and whose tracking skills were really impressive to watch. Saw the four monkeys, sloth, crocodile, boa, tapir, peccaries, coatis, agoutis and the endless beautiful birds. William told us interesting stories about his life, the park and the animals and even though it rained endlessly on the second day it never slowed down his enthusiasm. It is a wonderful place Corcovado NP. You just have to be lucky enough with the weather at this time of year and hang on for the boat ride. Highly recommend
