View on Google MapsWe had an unforgettable experience on our night tour in Bahía Drake, Corcovado! From the very beginning, our guide Emilio was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, making us feel safe and excited to explore the rainforest after dark. We were amazed by how much we got to see — from colorful frogs, sleeping birds to insects, and snakes. It was like stepping into a whole new world that comes alive at night. The sounds of the jungle, the fresh night air, and the chance to witness nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat made this tour one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. If you’re visiting Bahía Drake, I highly recommend adding this night tour to your itinerary. It’s a truly magical way to experience the biodiversity that makes Corcovado so special.

We had a group of 6 that did the night hike out of Drake bay. It was excellent, the guides provided boots, and flashlights and took us around a property just outside of Drake Bay. We saw a wide variety of animals including Spiders, scorpions, frogs, snakes, a water opossum, birds etc. The guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We even saw a big fer de lance which was the highlight of the hike. Highly recommend.
We loved the night walk. Saw so many incredible animals like red eyed tree frogs, a tarantula and even a Fer-de-lance snake. The atmosphere was great and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. If we had more time in Drake Bay we would have loved to go again.
We were so grateful to Emilio for arranging this tour for us. We were paired with our guide, Edin, who has been guiding for over 15 years and was incredible. Within the first 30 minutes of hitting the trails of Corcovado, we saw tapir, sloths, 3 out of the 4 monkeys native to Costa Rica, anteater, and many other animals! Not to mention all the birds. Edin kept us safe and made sure we maintained a respectful distance from the wildlife, in addition to thoroughly answering all of our questions. The Ranger Station was very clean and served amazing food! It was very comfortable to come back to after a long day in the forest. Highly recommend Emilio and his trustworthy colleagues for any tour within Drake Bay!
We had a great tour at La Sirena! We did the overnight tour at The Ranger Station. We were lucky that we were the only one that stayed overnight. The meals were very good. The tour was amazing. We saw a lot of animals (5 tapirs!). I definitely recommend staying overnight, so that you can hit the road the next morning and have a better chance of seeing animals. The guide José was very nice, knows a lot about animals and helped us well. Thank you for everything!
we really enjoyed tour. the guide showed us so many birds and told so many information of wildlife. the guide made high quality tour and also arranged for us following our request. there is shower room and survey shop in sirena station so it was more convenient and comfortable than I expected. I'd like visit again. thank you!
From the first moment the team at Nativos-Corcovado treated me great. The guide, the food included (both the one offered by them at the first breakfast and the one served at the same station Siren were amazing) and of course the routes through the incredible park of Corcovado, to walk around with all those animals in such an unspoilt environment was a luxury. As a personal recommendation, if you want a real experience in a free environment (no theme parks as Manuel Antonio was) dedicate a couple of days to Corcovado (with night included), it is very worthwhile.
