View on Google MapsWe just visited Beaune for two days and spent a half day with this tour. What a wonderful guide and visit! Matt explained the regional appellations and makeup of wines so perfectly, you leave feeling like a wine expert. He had the perfect amount of genuine enthusiasm and hospitality. This tour was well organized and the picnic lunch was a delicious taste of France. I highly recommend this tour as one of the best things in Burgundy!
We had a great tour of the Cote de Beaune wine region with a small group. Wineries chosen were very nice especially the small family winery where we got to see some of the harvest in process. Matt was our tour guide and he was excellent and passionate about wine and food - highly recommended!
Our review is probably simiular to the others posted on Trip Advisor... it was excellent. If you take this tour your you'll have Matt as your guide. The tour has a maximun of 8 people, which is great to learn about the region, history of winemaking , etc.. We visited two local wineries, had a great lunch in one of them... drove into the vineyards for a hands-on experience. Our train ride from Paris to Beaune was easy to navigate, the town of Beaune is small with many shops to browse, and easy to walk around. Back to Matt... He is very knowledgable, enthusiastic and wants to make sure we had an enjoyable time on the tour. Great host and tour!!

We travel a great deal...have taken many wine tours in many different countries, however, the tour we had with Matt had to be one of the BEST ever...on every level. Matt’s knowledge of the wine industry is profound...he made a very complex system of wine making, French nomenclatures etc very understandable...We had a delicious lunch and a very interesting tour to see how a fine vineyard processes their wine....with generous tastings as we went along. Matt was charming and delightful...making our time with him a very educational and memorial experience.
Matt, our tour guide was very friendly and informative. The lunch and tastings were spectacular. We had no idea how nice this tour was going to be...such a wonderful surprise.
As other reviews, endeed Mattias makes it become special. Nice van, wonderful place to have a lunch! We enjoyed the food a lot! Despite of a hot day it was a very pleasant tour and I highly recommend it!
