Guided Tibetan Culture Walk at Norbulingka,Gyuto and Nunnery

Started the day with a short drive to a stunning viewpoint and a walk ( or, in my case, a clamber) to an even higher point. Anyone who watched ' The Far Pavilions' will be able to picture what I saw. We went onto a Temple, a Monastery and a Covent all of which were far more interesting than it sounds. Onto the Norbulingka Institute to see the amazing skills of Tibetan craftspeople, engaged in traditional crafts such as metal and woodwork. The setting was absolutely beautiful in gardens with bougainvillea blossom and water features. Once again, an informative and highly enjoyable time. Recommended, and as a solo female, felt totally safe.
