View on Google MapsVery relaxed atmosphere, everything is ready for you and lots of inspiration to help you on your way. I was slightly nervous before we started (I am no artist) but so happy with my Duck 🥰
Absolutely great, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with my two grandchildren, ages 10 and 8. The session was full house and I felt the service was prompt and always helpful including tips and advice. The refreshments were deeelicious! 🤣 if I lived in the area this would definitely be a regular visit for me, even without the children. Worth every penny!
Was trying to find something for me and my son to do and came across the duck painting, and I can say what a great experience staff are friendly and helpful I think the stuff is reasonably priced and the whole experience is good value for money Would recommend this to anyone
A very enjoyable experience I painted a wooden duck. A pleasant time and lovely coffee and cake included. No experience necessary. I would certainly recommend
Such a lovely relaxing afternoon choosing and painting my duck, including a drink and cake. Help was there if needed and books of designs to give inspiration but otherwise you were left to be creative. A great souvenir of my holiday.
Absolutely lovely afternoon of wooden duck painting with our four girls. Such a great rainy day activity for holiday, lovely staff and beautiful cakes! Thank you so much! 😊
We chose this as a fun/ different experience as a couple whilst on holiday in Exeter. We felt that it was really good value, especially for such high quality items. Instructions were clear, and the activity was really well organised. The venue is cosy. The hosts were the perfect mix of friendly and professional, and came across as attentive and experienced. I 'd definitely recommend. We had a lot of fun.
We booked in to paint ducks as a family on a bit of a rainy day in Exmouth. We had the best time, it suited all of us from the two kids (8 & 10) who loved the painting to my husband who isn’t really the ‘arts and craft’ type! The instructions are easy to follow and help is on hand. We had some really lovely time together and the ducks make great holiday memories! I would say make sure you wear old clothes as although I was telling kids to be careful, I managed to get covered in paint!
Tranquil music playing in the background a lot of our favourites from our youth! We were shown how to do it and then left to it, which was nice not being constantly watched. In addition to this there were instructions on different steps everywhere to follow- but if you needed anything she was happy to help. I wanted some red ribbon gluing onto my duck to neaten my painted neck, lady got me some glue and scissors to action this. Not rushed at all, which was one of my worries - my husband and I really enjoyed it.
I visited the Arty Boat with my mum and 3 daughters (aged 15, 18 & 21) on the last day of our holiday to Devon and we all had a great time! We started by having an afternoon tea and then spent the next few hours painting our chosen pots/ ducks, chatting away and enjoying the relaxing environment. All steps for how to go about choosing and painting our chosen items were clearly displayed and the hosts were brilliant and attentive to all our needs - we even managed to take our creations home with us on the day which was a bonus! Perfect way to end our holiday and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Exmouth :)
