Ethniki Odos Amfissas - Livadias, , Delphi, 330 54, Greece
View on Google MapsWe had a once in a lifetime experience thanks to our incredibly thoughtful and experienced guide. Yannis picked us up with treats in hand. We had the most comfortable journey to Delphi with scenic stops and history lessons along the way. He took us to the best restaurants and even knew how to beat the crowds at the Meteora monasteries. The trip was magical and we feel like we made a new friend. Highly recommend this excursion and Yannis as a guide.
The audio tour of the Delphi site and museum was very informative and added to our overall trip. We appreciate being able to go at our own pace. The audio tour of the site added to the information posted and enriched our experience. We ended up going a bit out of order but easily could pull up the information we needed. O One suggestion: the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia is currently closed for visiting although you can view it from the road. This is the first site on the audio tour. We visited the main site first and then found a viewing spot for the Sanctuary.

Impressive! Beautiful walk in the mountains. You must go when it is not too hot!! It's worth a visit for both the landscapes and the historic site! Continue to the Meteora and you will have a memorable excursion!
Not sure what is happening, I used Viator in many countries before with good experience. But in Istanbul and now in Delphi, it has been a struggle. At this particular site, I received expired tickets bar codes. We couldn’t get into the site. After 30 minutes, trying to get tickets validated and having to talk to a Viator agent. Viator could not not help, they refund my tickets…. So I needed to go to the ticket line but tickets …. Wasted precious time.
self guided tour was difficult to download and use especially at site. the site was extremely poorly marked for distance and information.
The Delphi ruins is a must do. So amazing seeing stuff from 5000bc. The site is well done and it’s so neat that you get to walk through the entire site. The arena is worth the hike all the way to the top!
Awkward when we had a child with us, they required passport to see age (free up to 24 years so there should have been no question marks) We were shown several times before we finally got in and once inside we got no audio
The Delphi Archeological site of Delphi left us stunning. We found it even better than Olympia for example. Not very crowded and well preserved. The audio tour was very good. We downloaded it from Key tours and was available in our language (Dutch). You must be aware of the fact that the site is difficult to visit for people with mobility issues. There are many stairs to clime to see the whole site, but if you do or are able to do it, the reward is stunning. Don't skip this visit for what ever reason, you will regret this for sure.
Breathtaking archeological site and Museum. A must see and with the long drive from Athens. View of mountains from the site is stunning. Recommend good shoes as steps can be slippery and ground is uneven. Highlight of the museum is the Charioteer bronze a real wonder of antiquetee.
We requested a guided tour. We were sold a self guided tour. After receiving the tickets we discovered that we were sold a self- guided tour. We immediately, writhing five minutes, called to tell Viator that e had no headphones and that what they sold us would be of no value. They said they would escalate the refund. They advised us no refund.
