View on Google MapsWe enjoyed the sunset experience and even patted a young devil! Our sanctuary guide was informative and gave us plenty of information and answered any questions we had. Seeing the devils and quolls after opening hours meant we could wander and look at leisure (within the time constraints). Definately a memorable experience.
Amazing experience being so close too and learning so much about these amazing animals in a small group. Highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend.
Great experience to understand more about the iconic Tassie Devils and their close relatives the quolls. Was great to see the care and knowledge of the team there. And having a piece of shortbread shaped like Tasmania whilst learning about the Devils was a pretty unique experience which we loved!

We really enjoyed our visit. Wine, sweet treats and meeting the wildlife. Our host was super and really passionate. She answered all our questions and helped us understand the conservation work going on at the centre. It was a cold wet evening so dress warmly!
It was amazing. Best experience with a highly knowledgeable and warm guide, Renee. Seeing the animals up so close was so special, seeing the devils feed, visiting the quolls - the sweet treats and fire (inc. toasted marshmallows!) were a delightful bonus. Would highly recommend and would do again. So great to be able to support their convervation work AND have an unforgettable experience in doing so.
I had never seen a Tasmanian devil and this place didn't dissapoint. The amount of knowledge that the keepers had on all the animals was fantastic. Highly recommend.
This was a fabulous experience. The guide was so informative and seeing the Quolls (of which I knew nothing) was very enlightening. The guide explained their habits, diet, and relation to similar animals. Additionally, touching the Tasmanian Devil was very interesting and especially watching them interact with each other normally and during feeding was a sight to behold. Book this, you'll be glad youdid!
Small group experience up close with the Devils and Quolls. Zoe was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Also spent time with the resident Pademelon’s and stroking a baby Devil. Feeding them was also an unexpected pleasure.
Such a unique and educational experience. We were lucky enough to pat a quoll and tassie devil, then see some wombats being raised to go back into the wild.
An excellent visit from start to finish. Arriving a little early we were invited to look around whilst waiting for tour to start. When everyone was gathered the sanctuary guy (wish I could remember his name) introduced the sanctuary’s ethos whilst we sampled local fudge and biscuits and a drink of our choice. He explained in an interesting way what has happened to the devils since Europeans came to the island and introduced sheep. He was very knowledgeable, explained clearly in detail and interacted well with our small group of children and adults. Thanks to the work of the various sanctuaries in Tasmania their numbers are improving. We were shown round the sanctuary , seeing devils and quolls and were able to gently stroke a hand reared devil. A truly memorable experience and thoroughly recommended.
