View on Google MapsInformative guide who was very knowledgeable and obviously had great experience. Great to see the devils and also the quolls and learn about their history and threat of extinction. Well worth the hour visit.
Excellent tour, very informative and lots of detail about quolls and Tasmanian devils. Good viewing points
Very interesting to find out more about these unique Tasmanian animals. Great layout allowing you to see the devils and quolls up close. Unlike the resident wombat who did not make an appearance, the residents were active making for great photo and video opportunities.

Visited the sanctuary on our last day on Cradle Mountain and really enjoyed the tour. Fascinating seeing the tassie devils and quolls up close and hearing all about these endangered animals. The tour was entertaining and it was heartwarming to see the kids on the tour asking a million questions. The proceeds of the tours go towards conservation.
Absolutely worth the visit. Devils @ Cradle is doing incredible work for conservation, and it shows in every part of the experience. We did the 3pm tour with Pru and she was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. Nothing felt scripted or rushed, and she made the tour both informative and genuinely enjoyable. It’s refreshing to visit a place that’s focused on real impact, not just entertainment. You leave feeling like you’ve learned something and supported a great cause. Highly recommend adding this to your Cradle Mountain itinerary.
We bought the Joey Encounters but got there early to join the Day Keepers Tour an hour before. Full of animal information while seeing the Devils and quolls up close and personal. I have way too many videos and pictures now but it was fantastic!
Did the Day Keeper tour which walks you around the devil and quoll enclosures, sharing information about these endangered species. Paige, who led the tour, was very informative and the team are clearly passionate about the great work they do at the sanctuary. Given you are highly unlikely to see a Tassy Devil or quoll in the wild this is a really good opportunity to get up close and learn some interesting facts about them
The day keeper tour was absolutely brilliant. I didn’t catch the name of the male keeper, however it was on 1st December at 1030hrs. He was knowledgeable and explained the breeding and future of the devils so well and gave us a real understanding of how you are attempting to bolster the future of the devils. And the impromptu talk with a lovely keeper picking up the poo in the first enclosure and she demonstrated her very close relationship with one of the devils and showed us how cuddly they can be when hand raised in captivity as opposed to our believe they would stand on their hind legs and chew your face off. This was such a treat 👍
A fantastic way to get up close and personal with Tassie Devils, and really informative. We had the extra bonus of it snowing throughout our tour - truly magical. Exceptional value for money, highly recommend!
This place/ tour was fantastic- well above my expectations! The place itself was well set-out with many Devils and Quolls able to be viewed and active. But apart from this, I am so glad I decided to do the Keeper tour - he was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I learnt so much and highly recommend this experience!
