We did the 5.30 feeding tour, but had plenty of time before to wander around and meet the inhabitants. The biologist/ranger stories are excellent and gives a real insight into the ecosystems of the Devils and quolls, as well as their biology. Also, that sadder story of their persecution. The history of the extinction of the thylacine is simply shocking and, as a Brit, just embarrassing. These creatures and their future are in good hands, the details about the genetics and the programme ahead was great. This was one of the best visits to any ‘installation’ we have had on our entire 6 week visit. Well done team
Such a great experience. The staff were amazing, friendly and informative. Nothing was rushed and you get plenty of opp to see the animals.
This tour is the highlight of our Tasmania holiday so far! This hour long tour was very informative and engaging. Our guide was incredible, which could be seen in the way they spoke but also how the Tassie Devils trusted and interacted with them. Not only does your ticket allow you to see precious animals, it allows this sanctuary to keep running. We loved every minute!

I learnt that There are many types of Tas devils. Disappointed for the Lack of hands on experience in feed the devils. Suggestion. Tie a piece of meat on a one meter hard wire or fishing pole for each visitor to feed the devils at different enclosures. Length of visit about right. Guide gave sufficient information.
