My 12 year old son had a surf lesson in Cozumel with Camila! He has surfed in Hawaii, Colombia and Cozumel. His experience with Camila was one of his favorites! She was fluent in both English and Spanish, but due to my son being bilingual, his lesson was in Spanish. She was fun, kind, helpful and did a wonderful job! If we are ever back in Cozumel, we would book again in a heartbeat. Camila picked us up at the designated location on time and dropped is off after the lesson. She even recommended an amazing spot for lunch that we loved!
Of the best surf lessons. They passed me at the agreed time. Camilla explained step by step how we would do the class. He gave me tips that I hadn’t been given in other classes, which are super important points to keep moving forward. I really enjoyed the class. It is also rating that Camilla loves what she does and that conveys it. Great, great experience.

I thought surfing was not for me because the 2 times I tried I was ending up with something broken…until I tried the class with Camille and literally I stand up at the first try! She explained me how to do and what avoid to not get hurt…and it works!!!!! I had so much fun and now I can’t wait to try it again! Also the place is so nice, everything was just perfect! My husband and I booked a lesson with this company having never surfed before in our lives and we loved it! Our instructor, Camila, was knowledgable, patient, and kind, overall a great teacher! Camila and her coworker, Sabrina, picked us up from our location and drove us out to the perfect beach on the other side of the island. They had a lot of knowledge of the island and even took pictures/ videos of our lesson! We would highly recommend them!

My son and I had an amazing experience with Highlife. Sabrina kept in touch with us via text to get our information and to provide all necessary details for our pickup. Camila picked us up at our resort and drove us to the location for our lessons. Camila provided excellent instructions on the board, how to stand up, and safety tips. Camila then spent 90 minutes in the water with us helping us catch waves and giving us tips. It was a very memorable experience and I would highly recommend Highlife to others.
I went for several surf lessons with Camilla, and she is very knowledgeable and friendly! Her instruction allowed me to really progress in my surfing, I ended up able to catch a wave and ride it in to the beach, it was soooo fun!! She was understanding of fears and concerns and guided me into comfort, never pushing to achieve something above my ability . Communication in English was perfect. The company also runs a surf hostel, all female owned and operated, and it’s a really great vibe ! 🏄♀️🙏🏼 I recommend surfing with Cozumel surf school … and staying at their hostel too!
Highly recommended. I booked a last minute surf lessons and Sabrina (owner) was very responsible. I’ve the best instructor as Charly is also a certified instructor to certify surfing instructors I. Mexico. Such privilege to learn from Charly. The experience was amazing and very personalized. If I have more time I would have sign up more of their other offerings.
