Dave went beyond the call of duty. Lots of interesting information. Just seemed to anticipate our needs. We took a couple of beautiful diversions. Took in all the sites on way to, from and beyond hot water beach. As Canadians we have many common concerns and interests.
Our excursion to Cathedral Cove and other beaches was an amazing experience. Our guide, Liam, was the best! He was very knowledgeable and really worked hard to make sure the whole group was comfortable and that our expectations were met. It was a day filled with spectacular scenery and was definitely a highlight of our visit to New Zealand.
From the minute Cheeky Pearl arrived to pick us up, we knew we were going to have a good day. It was an early start and Pearl had obviously been on the go even earlier but she understood the mood of the passengers and soon got us motivated and chatting. She was a great drivers and negotiated all the winding roads to the Coramandel proficiently. She was a great guide and she got involved in all the activities so we felt we were with a friend. Anyone taking a tour with this girl are on to a winner. Excellent your, excellent guide.

Very nice trip and beautiful views, also all the other places where we stopped were stunning, I’d definetly recommend it, and Ark was our guide an absolute legend! He was super friendly and explained everything to us
The star of this trip is Cathedral Cove, where you get about 3 hours or so to explore. On the way down to the Cove, there is an optional path to a lookout. If you have the time and inclination, give that a look first before going down to the Cove. You'll be rewarded with a great view from a secluded spot that shouldn't have as many people. Then you can backtrack and head down to the Cove and the beach. Great job by our guides Simon and Liam who expertly handled all the logistics, which were challenged by a rainy day, but otherwise we got to see the Cove and had a nice lunch afterward (it's quite a hike with steps and hills) before heading back.

I had a good time today. Geoff, our guide, was great. A bit more time at Coromandel Beach would have been nice, as the walk up and down steels quite some time.
