View on Google MapsA fully lovely day. Our driver was prompt to arrive with a clean, comfortable vehicle and took us straight to Blarney Castle for the first stop. We arrived early and were second in line when they gates opened. We did the "kiss the Blarney Stone" part of the castle first, with no wait, and got some hilarious photos from that. From there we took our time, winding back down the castle (which is stunning) and out to explore the grounds. By the time we exited the castle, tour buses had arrived and the line was fully down the stairs and out of the entrance door. We probably saved at least an hour thanks to the early arrival. The weather was perfect, so we did linger quite a while exploring the many sections of the gardens. It's very well maintained and beautiful scenery. There are lots of signs to explain what's inside the different areas, for example the "wishing steps" and the legend of Blarney Lake. Even though we had lingered at the grounds, we still had time to see plenty more. We did lunch and shopping in Kinsale, a quaint and friendly harbor town. From there we visited a 9/11 memorial garden, a beautiful tribute to the first responders. Our last stop was Charles Fort, a fascinating structure from the history of defending the island.
This was by far, one of the best tours we have ever done. Ronan was an exceptional guide. He was very prompt, offered his suggestions for how to organize our trip and timing to best maximize our tour. Ronan was extremely knowledgeable about all things Ireland. He gave us a thorough history of the area we were in, going to, even the surrounding areas. He answered any questions we had. Ronan made sure to provide us with information to guide us as we decided how we wanted to spend our time in each place. This gave us the opportunity to go to additional places. Some we stopped and got out, some we stopped to just look, a slow drive by, or just drove through. His suggestions for lunch did not disappoint in the slightest. One of the best meals we had. Ronan was very personable, professional, and friendly. We could not have been more pleased with our trip. We would 100% book another tour with him and recommend him to everyone!

Kieran was a great tour guide! We had a lovely day with him. It was a very cold rainy day and he provided umbrellas and tried his best to do drop offs and pick ups to avoid as much of it as we could. Also gave great restaurant recommendations and was overall just a very pleasant person to spend the day with!
Ronan was outstanding in every respect. Completely comfortable the entire day. Awesome knowledge and expertise. Perfect day in Kinsale and Blarney Castle.
We had a delightful day with Ronan visiting a number of locations around County Cork. From start to finish it was a great experience. Ronan was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and insightful. We came away crammed with information about the history, geography, politics (and everything else!) about Cork and Ireland and he was able to answer all of our questions. Ronan was able to adapt the day based on our requests and I can’t imagine a better way to see Cork. Thanks Ronan !
We had a wonderful experience with Ronan. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch at Kitty O'shea's in kinsale was great. Wondering round Kinsale was delightful. Would certainly recommend this tour.
My husband and I are on a cruise for our honeymoon and booked this tour for our first pork in Cobh. It was such a perfect day! Ronan is a great guide and, in addition to showing us the scheduled itinerary, he gave us lots of history and stories of the surrounding areas on the drive to the various stops. We loved Blarney Castle and had plenty of time to see everything. We went to Kinsdale and had lunch and went shopping, and Ronan showed us the Charles Fort and we even went up the peninsula after lunch to see the spot where the Lucitania was hit and some beautiful cliffs. The car was clean and comfortable. We had such a great time and we would 10/10 recommend to book this tour with Ronan!
A delightful day touring Blarney Castle and Kinsale. Ronan is an exemplary guide who arrived right on time and offered insights, conversation and great knowledge of the area. He offered options as to what we wanted to see, and the day was well paced. Highly recommended.
