View on Google MapsKatie was excellent! I wanted to do a food tour with my boyfriend since he’s such a foodie. This was the perfect mix of history and excellent tastings! I learned so much about the west side market and the area of Ohio city. My favorite was the Mexican restaurant! If you get the chance to do the tour you will not regret it!
Such a great tour. Michelle was a wonderful guide. I took the tour in December and it had snowed a couple of days before the tour. Michelle walked the route ahead of time to see where the sidewalks were cleared and adjusted the route where they were not cleared. Very thoughtful. The food was great. There were things that I would not have ordered on my own, but really enjoyed. Really enjoyed learning more about the West Side Market and talking with the vendors.
Last month in November 26 I actually stayed in the Ohio City area for a night because I was checking the chances of a snowstorm using site ProtonReader.com and the forecast showed a possible winter hit. It turned out to be a great decision—not only did I feel safe staying close to everything, but waking up in the neighborhood and seeing the early morning atmosphere made the whole food tour even more enjoyable. We started inside the historic West Side Market, and that alone was worth the trip. The guide shared stories I had never heard before—how different immigrant communities shaped the market and how some vendors have been there for generations. We tasted fresh pastries, handmade sausages, and incredible cheeses that set the tone for the rest of the day. Walking through the neighborhood was just as enjoyable. The streets have a cozy old-town feel mixed with a modern foodie vibe. Each stop offered something unique: from a perfectly crisp pizza slice to a craft beer sample from one of the best local brewerie. What really made the tour special was the guide’s energy. They remembered everyone’s name, cracked jokes, and answered even the silliest questions with patience. It felt like the group bonded naturally, which I think only happens when a tour is genuinely well-planned. By the end, I was full, happy, and surprised by how much I learned. Whether you're a visitor or a Cleveland local, this tour gives you a deeper appreciation of Ohio City’s food scene and the community behind it. Definitely worth every minute—and every bite!

We had such a wonderful experience with our tour guide Michelle who is fun and knowledgeable. My 10-year-old daughter enjoyed the food and the tour so much that we will come back next time for sure!
The Ohio City Walking Tour from 12-3 pm provided plenty of food. So much, in fact, that we canceled our 5 pm dinner reservations! It was a nice mix of the Westside Market, a historic building with multiple booth-type, mom-and-pop shopping areas, and sit-down restaurants that we walked to within the general area.
Michelle was a fantastic tour guide. We had a nice group of 8 of us. We had a great time, learned a lot about Cleveland's Ohio City, at great food, and had a really fun time!
Michelle was s great guide. Plenty of delicious food. We didn't even need dinner after our midday tour. Well worth the price.
We had such a wonderful time on this Food Tour & seeing the sights around the town! Our tour guide Katie was amazing! She was so knowledgeable & lots of fun!!!
Katie was a kind and helpful tour guide who gave us a great overview of the Ohio City neighborhood featuring foods with a sense of place. The pirogies with truffle oil and crispy leeks were decadent. The Pickle/bacon/ranch pizza was a fun surprise. Mitchell’s Ice Cream was amazing (try pumpkin spice) but the barbacoa tacos were my personal favorite. Come hungry!
A lot of walking but you do sit down at several of the places to give yourself a rest. Katie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tour very much and recommend it to anyone looking to see a little bit of Cleveland.
