1 Day Moldova: Tour To Transnistria, Bender Fortresses

Wonderful tour and good and positive local guide, I booked directly by phone, some friends suggested me this day trip to Transnistria, me and my friends were happy to do it.

Loved seeing this unique part of the world! I enjoyed the Дом книгов bookstore, the Снова в СССР restaurant, and the Bender Fortress. This trip checked all my bucket list souvenirs: Pridniestrovian rubles, an old book in Moldovan cyrillic, and some Soviet memorabilia pins. Our guide Marcel was so smart and helpful! He tailored the tour to our interests, and helped us through things like the border crossing and currency exchange which would have been difficult or scary on our own. Marcel knew where to go, facilitated interactions with residents, and provided history and context for our tour. I'd love to go again!

We had such an amazing time, Lily was so knowledgeable informing us at every stop point about the history. We all went away with great knowledge to. The journey was very comfortable and one of the highlights of our holiday. Lily was lovely

First stop in Bender, monument before castle, should be discussed quicker as then at the end of the day we had not enought time for Tiraspol, but generally whole trip was unique, interesting and safe. Good occasion to see sentiments towards soviet union in the country aspiring to enter UE.

Great tour and understanding of Transnistria. Soviet style restaurant for lunch. Good tour of Bender Fortress. Guide was extremely friendly and informative. Recommend.

Agréablement surprise : excursion très intéressante, sous le soleil, avec la visite de la forteresse de Bender, de plusieurs belles églises orthodoxes, des lieux et monuments principaux de Bender et Tiraspol et une belle expérience au restaurant "Black in the USSR". Un grand merci à Lillia qui a rendu cette journée très agréable et intéressante : j'ai appris beaucoup de choses sur cette partie de la Moldavie que l'on connait peu.
