Full day Tombs of Sipán, Ventarrón and Pto. Eten

Bad experience. There was no guide because he became ill "half an hour before the match" and I had to pay a third passenger, otherwise the group would not leave due to lack of customers. I only had the two of us.

The day started with bad news, the other couple had cancelled the tour and for lack of members it could not be done. Enterprise Runa Turismo offered us two possibilities and we accepted the tour privately. Jairo the guide and Oscar the driver, have made the experience unforgettable. Jairo’s knowledge of the Moche culture is a plus in Mr. De Sipán’s museum visit. The delicious food, the visit to the site of Ventarrón very interesting and the end with the sunset on the cliffs of Puerto Eten, a picture of postcard.

This is a difficult review to write as the company called on the morning of the tour to say they were cancelling the tour I had booked. Instead they offered an alternate tour which visited Sipan and the Brunning museum without the visit to Pt Eden. The main issue for me was I booked an English speaking tour and this was not. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate but I understood very little of the information. I feel it was a wasted visit but the only option available to me at such late notice. If you are fluent in Spanish I am sure it would have been a very interesting and informative tour.

This place is a prefect museum setting. Well kept and 99% original pieces all the way to the mummies and bones. Follows a logical sequence and clear explanations. The reason I do not give it a 5 is the chaotic line to enter so go early and never in Sundays

Excellent experience with this young, promising tourist agency - kind, helpful guides with large specter of knowledge and high english language levels. Also the tours are well planned, with a good balance of archeological sites and nature. An extra plus is the birdwatching and photography skills of the guides, which makes experiencing peruvian nature even more enjoyable

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Runa Turismo! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well read about the places we visited and the history. We enjoyed our tour so much we scheduled another for the next day. Seeing the Lord of Sipan museum, Ventarron, Tucume, Eten, and other amazing places made our trip so wonderful. Runa was accommodating of our travel with an infant and our guide was patient whenever we needed to attend to the baby’s needs. He showed us many parts of archaeological sites that might otherwise be overlooked and even took some amazing photos of the birds and wildlife in the carob forest outside of Huaca de las Balsas. We learned so much and had an amazing adventure. If you’re considering a tour, you should absolutely go with Runa, I can’t imagine that you’ll get a better experience elsewhere.

This tour far exceeded my expectations! Julio did an exceptional job catering for both the Spanish and English speakers and the museum was presented step by step as an intruging story. He wan tour of his way to involve, share and ensure everyone had a good time. If all tour guides were half as good as him, more tours would be exceptional like this was. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in ancient culture, rituals, artefacts and buildings.

The tour given by Julio, was very knowledgeable and answered several questions I had along the way. The tour lasted about 7hrs, with 3 different stops. I recommend this tour for people who are interested in ancient Peruvian pyramids and want to see artifacts at the museum. The only negative thing was the tour vans level of AC. It didn’t get cool enough with the heat.
