Scott was a seriously fun tour guide! He made the drives between sites extremely enjoyable and made sure if there was an opportunity for a little more fun, like a great shot of sheep!, that we could indulge. Made a great day trip from Chester. Really appreciated that despite the rain, Scott made sure we had a wonderful time!!
My daughter and I just completed this trip today, with Scott as our tour guide. Had a fantastic day with a lovely group of people, seeing some stunning mountain scenery, historic castles and pretty Welsh towns. Scott was a fantastic guide, who was full of interesting information and he went the extra mile to make sure we all had a thoroughly enjoyable day. The mini bus was comfortable and not too big. Would use this company again 100%.

We really enjoyed this wonderful trip with stunning views of Snowdonia National Park and visits to historic castles at Conwy and Caernarfon. Scott, our driver and guide was friendly and entertaining, with interesting commentary. The group was small enough that we could get to know each other. Lots of good experiences!

Scott was our driver and tour guide (incredibly talented to do both at the same time) and we just spent the best day in Wales!! If you are looking for a way to see the sights and make memories to last a lifetime, this is the way to do it! He was more than happy to provide ample photo ops and interesting anecdotes about the unique towns and cities as we traveled. The trip culminated in a wonderful exploration of Caenarfon and we’d happily return!!!
David was great. The sites were good. Perhaps however recommend travellers grab a take away lunch at Conwy so that they could explore Betsy-E-Coed rather than spend all their tine eating lunch.
One of the best trips I have ever taken was to North Wales. The area is stunning, and I had an incredible time on the heritage train, which truly felt like stepping back in time. After researching several tour companies, something about Mountain Goat stood out, and I’m so glad I chose them for my trip. Scot, our guide, made the experience exceptional with his positive energy and unique way of engaging with the group. By the end of the day, it felt like we had all known each other for a long time. Along with the breathtaking views and delicious food, Scot’s company made this one of the best trips I’ve taken in the UK. Highly recommended!
after a shortish drive this tour kicks off in a lovely town called conwy with it's impressive castle, suspension bridge,town centre and bay then onto the rather large slate museum at llanberis that was a bit of an eye opener before taking the scenic narrow gauge that runs along the lake,throw in some pretty spectacular views and a short visit to betws-y-coed and your in for a fab day. for many good reasons,a big thank you to our driver gary.
I hadn't been to Wales before so I decided to travel from Kent to Chester and then travelled on minibus with Mountain Goat. I must say that I DO NOT regret paying for the guided tour at all. It allowed me and my teenage son to explore most of Snowdonia, Conwy castle, slate quarry and several other spectacular places in one day. Well worth the price.
