We had a wonderful experience, especially with our tour guide (Heineken), who made sure we enjoyed the full Tibetan village experience. It’s a must-do especially the sharing a family-style meal, seeing local life up close, and climbing the mountain for the stunning scenery.
Thanks to very good and very nice Heineken (our guide) we spent this wonderful day in a Tibetan family. Really exceptional and super recommended❤️❤️❤️
Incredible experience! we tried the painting and tea activities and were both interesting and really fun. They offered us some typical food which was delicious and we danced all together around the bonfire. Everyone was super kind with us. A very reccommended activity
I traveled with my daughter from Italy, and the Tibetan village near Chengdu became one of the highlights of our journey. It wasn’t a tourist place at all — just local families welcoming us with open hearts. We shared a simple Tibetan meal, tried paper-cutting side by side, learned how to make butter tea, and ended the day dancing around a bonfire. For us, it felt genuine, warm, and unforgettable — a memory between father and daughter that we’ll always keep.
The three of us came to a Tibetan village near Chengdu, and it was an amazing experience. The village is not touristic, it is home to real locals. We tasted traditional Tibetan food, learned how to make butter tea, learned the art of paper carving and participated in a campfire dance in the evening. It was an unforgettable day, full of culture and sincere hospitality. Highly recommended!
Our family had such a special day visiting a Tibetan village close to Chengdu. It wasn’t a tourist show village, but a real place where local families live. The kids loved trying Tibetan paper-cutting and making butter tea, while we all enjoyed the traditional meal together. In the evening, joining the Tibetan dance around the bonfire felt magical — simple, warm, and unforgettable. A beautiful cultural experience that brought our whole family closer.
We visited a Tibetan village near Chengdu, and it was nothing like the usual tourist spots. This was an authentic community, home to real locals, not a commercialized attraction. We were warmly welcomed and experienced the most genuine Tibetan culture — from traditional meals to paper-cutting, learning how to make butter tea, and ending the day with a lively Tibetan dance and bonfire. It was such a memorable day, full of culture and warmth. Truly an experience you won’t forget.
