Once in Sicily we were treated to a wonderful variety of culinary, nature, and cultural experiences with pleasant and knowledgeable guides. We only wished we had more time as with a week we only scratched the surface of this fascinating place and the welcoming people.
The team planned an amazing 15 day vacation of Sicily and Italy. They took care of every detail and were fantastic about communication. Highly recommend.
We just returned from 11 days in Sicily and used the 8-day food and wine tour as an initial template for developing our itinerary. We were a group of four travelers (my husband and I, daughter and son-in-law). We booked our hotels and multiple tours through Sicily Activities. We stayed in two locations (Taormina and Syracuse/Ortigia), using these cities as bases for exploring old towns and booking fun activities. We can’t say enough great things about Sicily Activities. Our travel advisor, Alex, was wonderful from start to finish. We worked together for nearly a year in tweaking the itinerary and she was so patient in responding to my questions and concerns. The hotels in Taormina (Ariston) and Ortigia (Livingston) were dated but they were clean and well situated. In both cases, the locations were ideal. We walked to town and restaurants with ease. Having a pool at the hotel in Taormina was a big plus. Throughout our trip, we communicated regularly with the folks at Sicily Activities via What’s App. Each day, they provided us with a reminder about the time of our tour, the name of our guide/driver, and the meeting place. As I previously mentioned, there were multiple tours and the connections went off without a hitch. It’s worth mentioning, as well, that the quality of our tour guides was excellent. They were so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and warm. Their passion for Sicily was evident and contagious. Big shout out to our wonderful guides: Giovanni, Orazio, and Denise. We had a great time with each of them and learned so much. Tours to Etna, ATV and water trekking in Alcantara, cannoli and pizza making classes (at Porta Messina) were standouts. I wouldn’t hesitate to book through Sicily Activities!!! They are top notch !

If I could give them a 10 star rating I would! We have just finished a week in Sicily and it was one of the most wonderful and enjoyable trips we have ever experienced! Despite the fact that we are seasoned travellers. We cannot express enough gratitude to Alexandra and Graziana and their amazing team of guides for their dedication and incredibly organized trip! We had so much fun with all of the tours they recommended, the lunches that were included were all delicious and the cooking class was such a fun experience too! The 3 hotels we stayed at were all beautiful and the people made our stay even more wonderful. Every day we were reminded about our activities a day in advance and we were always impressed that every tour guide was on time, so informative, some very funny (Carlos and Alfredo!) and after the tour we felt like part of their family. We will definitely be using Sicily Activities again to plan our next trip back to the beautiful and hospitable country of Sicily! Thank you again for the amazing memories. We did a 9-day private Food and Wine tour of parts of Sicily with Sicily Activies and absolutely loved the tour. From my first contact with Alex at Sicily Activies until our final departure from Palermo everything was very well planned and executed with precision. When ever I contacted Alex with questions, I always had an answer the next morning in my email! Once on the tour, Alex was always reachable by WhatsAP for the few questions that I had. This tour was a food and wine tour, and we had plenty of both!! In fact, several nights we did not even eat dinner because we were so fully from the food and wine provided during the various food and wine stops. The wineries that we went to were excellent and were great stops. Our suitcases were loaded with Sicilian wine on our way home! The food tasting highlighted Sicilian Street food and loved every tasting. All were quite different and featured foods of that region of Sicily. The three hotels that Alex arranged were all top notch and we enjoyed each of them. They were well located and were within easy walking distance of many of the major attractions we were interested in seeing. All the driver/guides were excellent and were licensed guides. We always felt safe in the van with their driving and let me assure you the drivers are crazy in Sicily! However, I would like to a special shout out to Antonio as we probably enjoyed him the most! He was lots of fun and loved to talk about Sicily. When we got ready to depart from Palermo, I thought Alex had arranged too much time at the airport but after getting there it was absolute kayos and we needed almost all the allotted time to catch our flight home. One word of caution about both airport in Catina, where we landed and the airport at Palermo where we departed is that they do not use jetways and it caused some difficulty with our carryon baggage. In summary, I would do this tour again in a heartbeat as the pace was exactly right for us and the food and wine were fantastic. I also cannot say enough great thing about how responsive Alex was to our questions!
Sicily Activities is the way to travel. We travelled as a gtoup of 6 people. All hotels are 4 stars, соmfortable and centrally located. The restaurants are top of the line, including Michelin restaurants with exquisite food and wine every day. Our driver- guide, Carlos was amazing, helpful in every way, knowledgeable and nice. The company is flexible and accommodated all our requests and changes. I definitely recommend Sicily Activities for bot group and individual travelers. A wonderful trip was fully planned and mostly pre-paid for our group of 11, so it was very easy to just sit back and enjoy our time away. Every detail of the trip ran smoothly and we loved our food and walking tours. We had fun and informative guides whose English was very good and the restaurants we visited with them were an excellent showcasing of Sicilian cuisine. I will be recommending Sicily Activities to all of our friends who are planning to visit this beautiful corner of the world.
This was a great tour. We visited Etna, a winery nearby, a Godfather tour, beautiful Taormina, Ortigia near Syracuse, Villa Romana mosaics, Agrigento temples and Palermo. They planned wonderful food and wine events at beautiful restaurants. The hotels they chose were exceptional. Our guides, Antonio, Valerio and Carlos were informative and entertaining. There were local guides as well. Alex, from Sicily Activities, regularly kept in touch with us to make sure that everything was going fine. We loved Sicily and we loved our tour. Would do it again without hesitation.
We were two couples. Sicily Activities was fantastic arranging for our airport pickups, ground transportation and all of our tours. All the drivers were always on time as were the tour guides. Our drivers were extremely courteous and professional. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and personable. Everyone’s English was very good. Alex was always available and helpful via email and text. Very comforting knowing someone was always there to assist us. We would recommend them without hesitation.
