View on Google MapsWe had a brilliant 90‑minute guided tour of Canterbury with Will, who was extremely knowledgeable and engaging throughout. Despite the awful wet weather, he kept the group’s spirits up and delivered a fascinating walk through the city’s rich history, hidden corners, and iconic landmarks. Will’s storytelling brought Canterbury to life, and we learned so much more than we ever would have on our own. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city—rain or shine!
We had an excellent, enthusiastic guide (wish I could recall her name) who loved the city of Canterbury, and shared so many fascinating details. She was also eager to hear our questions and comments. Truly would enrich visitor's experience.
Knowledgeable and fun tour guide and easy stroll around lovely Canterbury! The walk through of the castle grounds was enchanting.

Our guide Kay was super friendly and the tour informative ! Would recommend to get a first glimpse of Canterbury’s rich history and historic buildings. You get into the Cathedral precinct as well.
Our guide was very informative and friendly as he told us tales of Canterbury and pointed out things of interest that you would never know just wandering around as a tourist. There was a good mix of history and human stories as we walked along the lanes of the town. We were a small group and despite some average weather, we all enjoyed the tour.
Fascinating insight into the history of Canterbury. Very well explained. Very entertaining and engaging guide. Would recommend
Our guide Kevin was a wonderful and informative storyteller, and we thoroughly enjoyed the insights he shared as we walked around the busy city centre and cathedral grounds.
This was a fascinating trip conducted by our entertaining and very informative guide, Adrian. It was like being back in school but in a very good way. The history unfolded before us as we walked its busy streets and quieter area of the Cathedral and The Kings School. I thought I knew a bit about English history but I was wrong, Adrian brought it back to life , from the Roman occupation through to the middle ages up to the 19th century. A thoroughly absorbing walk that made the time pass swiftly. Highly recommended.
Enlightening tour covering the main facts about Canterbury history. I liked the tranquil pace and friendly tour guide, Ann.
Local guides are amazing and speak clearly. Start with a flash back in time to it's founding and up to current day. Lots of interesting places to see. Suggest doing this tour after you do the Cathedral tour.
