Full Day Private Tour in Canberra from Canberra hotels

Looking at the tour prices on offer in Canberra , I wondered whether £180 for my wife and I to spend a whole day with Neil Hermes in his tour bus was a bit steep? I read the reviews though and could hear the enthusiasm, fun and enjoyment of others, and by checking out the itinerary I figured £90 each for an excellent day out was fair enough! We were so right to do so. Neil is a wonderful narrator, a politically and historically savvy native of Canberra, a bird watcher, Aussie zoology book writer and a generous and charming man of humour and energy. His only joke of the day that I didn’t connect with as a Brit was something to do with Collingwood. I have been on many many city tours around the world and had some great guides… but none of them transmitted quite the knowledge, understanding and love of their city that Neil gave us yesterday. It was well worth the money Neil. Thanks for your professionalism.
