View on Google MapsFantastic option and great price for private tour for 2 at 1.8k VND. Pick up from hotel and straight on to the river. Far more personal than big tourist boats which zoom past. Our guide. Hung, was excellent; we visited floating and landside markets, hidden canals, noodle making stalls and walked through a flower village. And so much food! Pho, tropical fruits, cassava cakes and drinks on the river. Cannot be faulted.
My son and I visited Can Tho for one day just to check out the Cai Rang floating market. I looked for a tour operator to take us there and show us around. We were so blessed to have found Nhung. She was wonderful. She gave me so many tips (via WhatsApp) to help make travel arrangements even before we officially met for the tour. Because our hotel was close to the dock, she actually met us at our hotel lobby and walked us over. She was full of information about the floating market and very generous in getting us drinks, snacks, and fruit all along the way from the river to the land market. The hu tieu we got from boat vendor has been the best soup we’ve had since getting to Vietnam 2.5 weeks ago. The overall tour experience was simply incredible. I have done tours/excursions in Europe and the Caribbean, and tour operator has ever shown this level of caring and attention to all possible details. I don’t know when we’ll be back to visit Vietnam, but when we do, we will book a tour with Nhung again.
Amazing experience! Our guide Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour started before sunrise, which made it extra special. We were offered juice and coffee, and enjoyed delicious noodles on the water at the floating market. We visited a noodle factory where we got to participate in some of the production steps, which was really fun and interesting. After that, we boarded a pineapple boat and got a glimpse into how the local vendors live. We also visited a busy local market and tried banana pie — so good! A big bonus was that there were only two of us on the tour, making the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. Highly recommended!
We had a great day on the Mekong Delta. Communication was clear and we met at the meeting point with no problems. Ngong was generous with her knowledge and also buying many different fruits for us to try at the market. Breakfast in the boat of hot noodles was delicious. We love that this is Ngongs business rather than a company she works for, so the money went directly to her. Her English is great and we loved the Vietnamese perspective on history and politics she gave us. Highly recommended
Great morning out with Kyle. Very friendly and approachable with excellent local knowledge. Well worth your time and money. Well done Kyle!
Cris was our guide and did great. We were only two on the road with him and were able to have exciting conversations. He had an answer to virtually everything and explained patiently. A breakfast (also vegetarian) something to drink and the tips were included. He even bought us some pbst at the market. All in all an absolute recommendation!
Nhung made this trip in Can Tho so amazing! The tour was so well planned, from floating market, to noodle making session, to river canal and then cocoa farm, all the activities were super fun and engaging, I will definitely be recommending this tour, and Nhung to all my friends who wants to travel to Vietnam!
It was a very personal, informative, fun and new experience! Granting perspectives of history, daily life and food I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise!
We had a fantastic morning with Chris! Chris was incredibly knowledgable and insightful and we very much enjoyed exploring and learning with him. From pick up to drop off the day was very well organized with a range of fun activities. Highly recommend! Thanks again Chris! :)
We had a wonderful morning on the river with our guide Nhung. She’s very knowledgeable and speaks very good English, sharing with us plenty of interesting facts and stories about the local area and culture. It was very interesting to see the rice paper making and the floating market, as well as the normal market and the surrounding canals. I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting southern Vietnam and would love to do it again some day. Thanks!
