View on Google MapsWe spent the day with Wendy taking us to various sites to see wildlife - one of my goals coming from Canada was to see kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitats and this did not disappoint. Even though we had rain, it ended up being the impetus for these guys to come out and roam! Wendy was full of wit and wisdom making the day a great one!
Wendy was the perfect leader, knowledgeable, confident and interested in her clients as well as being passionate about the indigenous flora and fauna which she pointed out.
Such a lovely day out to see the beautiful aussie animals in their natural habitats. Our guide, Tom, was so knowledgable and had an answer for anything we asked regarding the animals! You could truly tell he was doing the tour for the animals and environment. It made my experience by seeing the koala joeys. The lunch provided was very good and was had at a lovely spot. Tom was prepared and had binoculars for everyone to get the best experience. A bonus to this as well was the fact the company plant trees in order to give back to the wilderness. So by doing this tour you are technically donating to charity too. I highly recommend this experience if you are staying in Byron Bay.

Very good tour! We got to see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and flying foxes in their natural habitat. We also saw lots of birds. The tour guide was very good and gave us lots of extra information, we really enjoyed it.
Tom is a brilliant host, as well as being a knowledgeable and passionate naturalist. This was such a great small-group wildlife tour, getting up close to awesome native species while respecting the space that these wild animals need. Strongly recommend for those that are looking for special encounters with Australia's unique wildlife.
Our tour with Wendy was great. We saw everything advertised and more. It was so refreshing seeing the wildlife in its natural setting as opposed to zoos and private refuges. Lunch was very good as well. But, the best part was Wendy's enthusiasm and knowledge. We learned so much. Thanks Wendy!!!
