Gifts of the Earth Tour

Mauricio was a great tour guide. Welcoming, informative, interested and interesting. We had some good conversations and learned a lot about Mexico and Mexican culture. The tour itself was really interesting and a lot of fun. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate making/tour. My family and I got to make a few delicious pieces of chocolate at the end and we learned a lot about chocolate in the Mexican culture. Francisco, the potter was really friendly and a good teacher. We were able to take some time to make our own pots while talking with him. The lunch was delicious and all the staff at El Jardin Secreto were very kind and friendly. We enjoyed the handmade tortillas as well as the other lunch dishes. It’s a great way to spend a day in Bucerías or surrounding area that is off the beaten path and will engage you a bit more with the local people and culture. I highly recommend!
