Wine Culture and UNESCO Gems Lednice Valtice Area and Mikulov

Rosta knows everything about the region, we toured Valtice and Mikulov, and enjoyed a tasting at Sonberk winery, pickup and dropoff was efficient at our hotel in Brno. Great day!

It was a remarkable journey with Roman. He knows everything about the area. Put your hiking boots on. The scenery is beautiful.

Roman has put together a wonderful day exploring the countryside with a perfect combination of driving and trekking. His unrushed yet timely approach to the tour enabled me to take my time in areas I wanted to explore more and to also learn new things about the area. I look forward to returning for wine tastings and staying in the lovely chateaus we visited.

We had a fantastic trip with Roman! I travelled with my husband and 7 year old son. Instead of Lednice we went to a very old castle that had an interesting history and beautiful views. Unfortunately, there was a frost about a week before we went, so the gardens at Lednice were done for the season, so the cattle was a great alternative for our family. It was a bit of a hike up the hill, which we enjoyed. We also explored Mikulov, which is a cute little town, and the castle there is gorgeous. There are some cute shops and cafes, and the views there are also beautiful. Getting out of the city and exploring the countryside was a great experience. We would absolutely go back to this region and we would do another tour with Roman. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, helped us to tailor the trip to our interests and family needs. Highly recommend!
