View on Google MapsI joined Bogdan’s tour and had a really great experience. He explained the history in a clear and engaging way, brought a lot of positive energy, and was always open to answering questions throughout the tour (which I appreciated, since I tend to ask quite a few). Overall, it was a very well-organized and enjoyable visit, and it definitely made me interested in coming back to Romania for another guided experience in the future. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Brilliant tour from Bogdan, picked up at 9am at the Central square. Full of great information and always happy to answer questions and accommodating when requesting to go into areas of the towns. Fully recommend this tour so glad we did it and to visit other parts of Romania away from the city's.
Very interesting and quiet experience to get to know in depth the history of Romania and its culture and influences of other groups
It was an excellent trip, everything was nice, from the car and the trip, to our guide and the overall organisation. We surely recommend this trip if you want a very rich one-day tour.
Bianca was our guide for the day ( myself and adult son) - she put us at ease straight away. She was informative about everything we drove past, as well as general conversation. She was really interesting showing us around Viscri and Sighișoara. There were a couple of entry fees- Viscri museum in the fort, and the church in Sighișoara , but nominal. She was good company and a safe driver. Her car is comfortable. Highly recommend this tour from Braşov. The pick up and drop off was smooth also. Thanks for a great day Bianca!
We left Brasov to visit Viscri and Sighisoara, before the tour we were scared by the idea of the 4 hour trip (round trip) but our guide kept us company all the time telling us the best stories related to what we were admiring. Then we had enough free time to visit Viscri and Sighisoara, and we were also given valuable tips related to our trip to Romania. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it.
This tour was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Our day exploring Viscri and Sighișoara exceeded all expectations and truly felt like stepping back in time. Viscri was magical - this charming Saxon village is a genuine hidden gem. Walking along the cobbled streets lined with brightly colored traditional houses felt like entering a storybook. The UNESCO-listed fortified church is beautifully preserved and the whole village has such an authentic, peaceful atmosphere. It's easy to see why even Prince Charles fell in love with this place! Sighișoara was equally captivating. The medieval citadel with its pastel-colored buildings, ancient towers, and winding cobblestone streets is simply stunning. The iconic Clock Tower, standing proudly at the heart of the citadel, was fascinating - learning about the various guild built by the craftsmen (the Shoemakers, Tailors, among others) gave us such insight into medieval life. Exploring Vlad the Impaler's birthplace and wandering through the remarkably well-preserved old town made history come alive. Our guide Bogdan was fantastic! knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Transylvania's rich heritage. His engaging storytelling and deep understanding of the region's history made the experience truly special. The small group size made the experience feel personal and allowed plenty of time for photos and questions. The comfortable transportation and well-paced itinerary meant we could truly savour each location without feeling rushed. This tour is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Brașov. Highly recommended!
Really nice day trip outside of Brașov with the guide Bogdan. he was kind, careful, and shared interesting stories. Beautiful scenery and a very pleasant experience overall :)
We had an incredible time on this tour. Our guide Mimi was terrific ,knowledgeable and friendly. Sighișoara was magical but I especially loved visiting Viscri. The fortified church was a highlight — full of history and so well preserved. It was also great to see local crafts and how the community keeps its traditions alive. Five stars, without hesitation. I’d gladly join another tour with her anytime!
Both cities were very interesting and totally different from each other. I especially liked Viscri as it's still the old Saxon village with everything revolving around the White Church. Sighisoara was very colorful and also had a lot of history. Our guide Bogdan was a wealth of knowledge in both cities.
