Pirenópolis, State of Goiás, 72980-000, Brazil
View on Google MapsColony baroque-style city with many bars and restaurants. Moving streets. Prices well above average. It's worth seeing.
The city is very beautiful and well taken care of. It has handicraft fair, restaurants, squares, many places and historic streets to walk around. Near the church Our Lord of Bonfim has popular restaurants with good prices. On Aurora Street there is an Italian ice cream store which is a delight.
The city is beautiful, cosy, charming, historic. Impermissible. Numerous great restaurants and shop with special products. Walk on foot through the stone streets. Visit the cathedral, pass the wooden bridge, take ice cream at the Colorado Sorveteria and also at the Valenttine. Dinner from the Queen of the Panelinhas and at the Dill Restaurant and Cachaçaria. Visit the Studart Cachaçaria. Many artisanal ceramics shops: the Casa Grande, the Cuia and the Casa de Cora - which is also a delicious coffee. I loved the city. It is worth visiting the Time Roads Museum. Great cost benefit. The recipe is from the Riolane family and the store has more than 35 years. It's on the right street - next to the church. Just delicious.
Wonderful waterfalls and restaurants Quiet city, cosy, good for night walks beautiful nature. picturesque restaurants. Good car mobility. The night has a very interesting square.
Small town that does not include all the tourists that appear there. Infra structure leaves much to be desired, holes, breaks springs without plates, arrival paths to the dangerous waterfalls, car destroyers, one to the Golden Mirante, with an open can of ink to signal one of the immense problems on the journey. Garbage scattered everywhere, loose dogs on Leisure Street... Water leaking in various places in the municipality, for all four days from 19 June to 22 June 2025. And even the worst fact, half wire with exposed construction iron, that when parking RASGARAM PNEU NOVO, from my daughter's car, on the exhausted side, when parking in the middle of the city, without any warning or plaque, the responsibility of the Prefecture, which received a complaint in the Ouvidoria on this date and did not even contact?? And on Sunday back believe FUEL STATION WITHOUT GASOLINE!!! There are the waterfalls which are very beautiful landscapes.
Todo o passeio foi muito bom. Alberto é um guia conhecedor da história local. Muito simpático e prestativo além de excelente motorista
Small picturesque town, surrounded by greenery. Many restaurants and shops in houses in the historic center, with very good attention. Many visitors but don't feel suffocated. 2 hours drive from Brasilia.
Inner town to the extreme, if you are hungry in the morning, you will sleep hungry, pq there is no trade that sells food in this city in the morning:
Pirenópolis is 63km from Anápolis/GO. We went and came back the same day. We walk in the streets that are charming and well bustled. There's a fair. Dinner at the Chico de Sá restaurant. The food was good. For those who like it, during the day there are several walks with waterfalls etc. It is worth going.
Alberto was a fantastic guide. His English was great and he even personalized the tour based on our interests. This was our only chance to visit a colonial town in Brazil. Easy day trip from Brasilia. Highly recommend
