Puka Shell Beach, Philippines
View on Google MapsIf you want a day off the beach then this is a good trip. It takes you to a Snorking place where one can see fish but it’s no reef or coral experience, then a trip to Crystal island which has good views and a 300 peso surcharge. Then followed a splendid lunch , go premium for extras and the fish. Finally an extra island to swim and sun bath but this was only for about 30 minutes which was not long enough. My favourite bit was the sea experience of enjoying the trip around the island. A solid 3.5/5 but could have been better if scheduled for longer and the last beach had at least an hour to 90 minutes to enjoy. Also only one average Snorking experience. Again a longer and better trip could perhaps include another Snorking stop unless there is no decent local coral to enjoy.
Good to have the flexibility of the private tour. Cliff jumping was super fun and snorkelling pretty good. Having a guide added no value to the trip as he basically just picked us up from the hotel and helped us on and off the boat. He spent a lot of time just looking at his phone rather than talking to us.

Great way to experience the island and get an overall idea of the place . Crystal cove is worth the additional fee to go to. Snorkel experience could be more. One location and short time and must stay close to boat
Travelled to many country's in Asia this was awful definitely the worst we have been on. Not worth the money dirty beaches full of rubbish every one trying to sell you something drinks food general tack. Every where we went. The beach we dinned was possibly the dirtiest beach i have ever seen plastic bottles cans from kitchen you name it it was on the beach. Reading previous comments If you think this was good value you need to try trips in thailand or Vietnam
A little bit disapointing. Guide and boat crew ok, but Puka Beach is crowded and no special shells, premium lunch reasonable but the hygienic conditions of the place far from the minimum acceptable. Snorkeling: yes, we saw a dozen of little coloured fish and no more.
The only thing good was the guide. At the first beach we knew we got a bad deal. The beach isn't possible to swim at due to the rocks. I ended up cutting my feet up leaving the boat and swimming ashore. The snorkeling is a random place in the ocean where they drop bread in thr water and fish come up. The food was not great. The shrimp and crabs were only boiled and no seasoning or flavor. That was when we finally got a bike and left. I've never left a trip in my entire life early due to how bad it was. You have to pay to use the snorkels for 20 minutes. I think this should be included since their cheap. Island hopping is basically just visiting other random beaches either connected directly to boracay or extremely close. The first stop was literally an abandoned hotel project that you can walk around on. It was slippery and a couple fell but not badly. Guide was nice. That's the only positive thing. Don't do this tour.
Really not worth the money got ripped again on these island tours the beach is just another beach with people selling 😑 and kids begging .Couldn't believe that we had to pay to go snorkelling even though it's a minimal amount that for 30 mins was the best of trip food on other beach ok 👍 then 3 Rd beach more money required none of the others paid so quick wip in then back to beaches ⛱️..really not worth the hassles save your money
The guide accompanying you all the time was superb The walk to get on the dingi to go to the main boat was dangerous the snorkling stop was ok And the lunch was good although they could have picked a more civilized place to go.the weather was terrible but they did not cancel the activity of course following all the guidelines stipulated by the coast guard i decided not to go to snorking stop 2 it was dull and the transfer back to the hotel was smooth
Nice people; cheap, cold plate of low-grade food; very little actual island-hopping; hardly worth $55 in the Philippines.
The food was excellent . Excellent staff service on this trip. Good experience help for our diving experience
