View on Google MapsFab way to spend some time! The host has oodles of energy and hits the spot when it comes to friendliness, information, making you at ease and, of course, the essential bulls-eye and fire crackers. Lina also organized beers and alcohol-free options. Easy to communicate with, both beforehand and during and Lina kindly shared some eating suggestions which, again, hit the spot. This was a worthwhile activity and added to our understanding of Colombia.
Such great fun and an experience worth doing in Bogota! Very authentic and. Lina was a fantastic host. Kind, bubbly, and full of energy. She made us feel right at home and was engaging from start to finish.
Authentic way to enjoy and feel a part of everyday life in Bogota. We met our guide Lina and she explained the history of the game in the most fun and interactive way.
Learning how to play Tejo in local surroundings with locals is so much fun. A great experience. Lina was an excellent guide and a good teacher. She was knowledgeable on beer and the beer making process and loved the craft brewery. This tour is definitely worth taking.
Excellent authentic Tejo Experience. Lina is friendly and happy to share her Tejo and craft beer knowledge. I learned something while having fun doing a quintessential Colombian activity. Highly recommend.
This experience was fantastic. Lina was wonderful - so happy and kind and engaged. The experience felt authentic to Colombia given that we played in a typical who court used by locals. Great way to spend an evening. Highly recommend to anyone! Also, the craft beer would impress my Seattle home base friends!
My Colombian wife and i went on this tour yesterday and really enjoyed it. I think trying tejo is an important part of experiencing local culture. Our guide Lina was great and taught us everything we needed to know about tejo and about local craft beer. You get to drink all the beer you want on this tour if you take that option.
Playing Tejo was great but made even better by the tour guide Lina. She was really fun & enthusiastic and made the afternoon really memorable (even though she beat me 3-0 at Tejo 😂) The craft beer tour was really good as well and I’d recommend it as really fun few hours in Bogotá
I had an incredible time on the "Tejo and Beer" tour with Lina in Bogotá. From the very start, Lina made me feel comfortable with her friendly and energetic approach. She provided clear instructions on how to get to the Tejo court and was easy to find when I arrived. While we waited for other guests, we had a great conversation, and everything she had described in the instructions went exactly as planned.Tejo itself was fascinating—it's a bit like Cornhole, but with a lot more excitement! The location Lina chose was a traditional Tejo court, offering an authentic experience that exceeded my expectations. The environment was clean, safe, and filled with locals playing the game the authentic way. Lina was very knowledgeable about the game, explaining the rules clearly and giving us plenty of time to practice and play several rounds. I loved Tejo so much that I would definitely play again if I could find a group to join. After the game, we headed to a modern craft beer pub with a great atmosphere. The staff there were super friendly and provided excellent service. Lina's knowledge of beer was impressive—she explained the brewing process, the different styles, and the ingredients in a way that was both informative and engaging. We even got into some interesting discussions about beer from around the world. The beer tasting was a highlight; we sampled at least four different styles, and Lina offered us a full glass of our favorite. The entire experience at the craft beer pub was fantastic.Overall, this tour was beyond my expectations. Lina’s expertise, the authentic Tejo experience, and the quality of the beer tasting made this a day to remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience something unique in Bogotá!
Tejo!! Fantastic experience with Lina. We love her enthusiasm, knowledge and her fun spirit. This was our first ever Tejo experience and we loved the entire evening. Tejo is a must-do in Bogota. I recommend you avoid the newer Tejo places which are springing up in Bogotá’s fancier neighborhoods. Lina takes you to an old-school Tejo and billiards bar. It’s the real deal, no tourists and it’s super fun. Highly recommend.
