We moved through the day at a perfect pace, not too fast or too slow, so everyone could enjoy time at each place. Darlene picked us up promptly at the time we were told the day before. She was warm and welcoming and made sure each guest (8 total) was having a great time. We learned a lot about wine making, different types of wine, and the Marlborough region.
Collected from hotel in Picton before visiting 5 wineries. Fabulous lunch at St Clair winery. Mix of small & larger wineries. Mainly Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay tastings with a Pinot Noir too as all wine. Trip was fun because the 5 couples all got on really well.
Excellent tour. Great guide-Maurice. The wineries we visited were very good. Nice lunch at St Claire. Highly recommend this all day tour.

Darlene was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of insight into Marlborough wines and wine industry. An excellent selection of wineries. All very diverse. Great lunch stop with a wine tasting along with it.
This was such an incredible way to experience Marlborough wines! I am studying for my WSET 3 and wanted to experience the wines of Marlborough. Darlene was an incredible host and guide for this experience. She even went out of her way to take us to a different winery than her original plan because we had already visited. 100% recommend this tour!
Very nice trip! We vistited 5 vineyards and had a lunch in one of them. We learned a lot and had fun in our small 4 prople's group. Our host Amanda was simply wonderful!!
Charismatic and chatty driver Doug who took the time to stop by some vines to explain some of the specifics of viticulture. He gave us a good history of the region intertwined with humour. He was a good driver and didn’t rush us at each place. He had good recommendations for food. I enjoyed that we didn’t go to wineries that you can just buy from the supermarket. Doug made the effort to speak to everyone in the group. You can tell he is passionate about wine.
What can I say. I was not expecting too much but instead what I got was an amazing day. Our guide Amanda was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to ensure our party gelled quickly and felt relaxed. The cellar doors were some of the best I have been to and I've been to a lot. Lunch was great. All in all a really fantastic day. Very informative, great host and of course some great wines. I would certainly recommend this full day of wine tasting and excellent value for money
Enjoyable day touring Marlborough wineries with out knowledgeable guide, Doug. Only reason for the score of 4 (not 5) was that the advert stated it included a behind the scenes visit at one of the wineries, but our tour guide said they don’t do that anymore due to health and safety?? We visited 4 vineyards for sampling and one other for lunch only (where we received a glass of wine included), but the meal at your own cost. All were very nice and well run, but samples very small (probably totalled one medium glass of wine at each). In summary it was an enjoyable day and well run, but a little expensive for what you get!
This was such a good day - our guide Cam was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. I learnt a lot about the area and viticulture and tasted some amazing wines in glorious surroundings. The group was lovely, the transport comfy and it really felt like home from home…. With wine. What could be better?
