View on Google MapsI have moved to Bergen Last year and this is the first time I get to see Bergen from a different perspective and it’s absolutely blew my mind. Our Guide Don took us around the center of Bergen and connected the dots of history and modern world efficiently by taking us back in time. It was fascinating and very interesting. He holds so much knowledge but also passion for Bergen and Norway. I would 100% recommend him
Best choice. The 80 minutes tour was perfect for a family with 2 teenagers. Don Sebastian, our guide was great. Very very knowledgable, whether it was about history, politics, fun facts, architectonical curiositats, language... he packed so much knowledge and fun in the tiur, that the teenagers actually participated, asked and país full attention. Ah! And when we asked him for some local but not overpriced restaurants, his recommendations turne out to be the most delicious me'ls we had in Bergen.. In our case, we just came back from 6 days on a Havila boat - so we did not feel like going on a tour including the boat trip again. And the 2 hour tour was too long for us in frezzy Bergen with teenagers. Absolutely recommemdable, and we wish you, to get assignad to Don. You'll enjoy.

This tour is a must for anyone who wants to learn more about Bergen and its history. Our guide Ani was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the city from its inception to the present. I was impressed with how much effort had been put into the tour and the amount of content that was covered.
Great walking tour around Bergen. Enjoyable and informative. Perfect amount of time so you stay interested.
I recently joined the Bergen in 80 minutes guided walking tour in last week in October, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. From the start, our guide Don welcomed us warmly at the meeting point and introduced us to the King of Bergen 😛. He led us through the charming UNESCO timber-house alleys and cobbled lanes of the city, weaving in the story of Bergen’s past as a fishing port and its rise to a modern destination. It was a well passed with no hurry and time for a lot questions from me which Don answered with a smile. Don sprinkled in interesting historical anecdotes and local tips—perfect for someone wanting an introduction to the city. We visited iconic spots like the historic wharf, stopped outside the lovely St Mary’s Church, and paused photos at scenic vantage points. If you’re short on time in Bergen but want a meaningful walking tour, this one is highly recommended.
I am in love with Bergen. I tell everyone who ask me about my Scandinavian tour that Bergen is a must visit. It has a different charm; it has soul and a unique character. Moreover, it has an amazing story which I got to know from Don. Not sure which was more fascinating – the story or the story telling! Every city must be having its own eventful past and that makes it attractive. I feel that we were fortunate to reach out to Norwayfarers and did the walk with Don which helped us to enjoy the city better. Bergen, I will be back..
This walking tour exceeded all expectations. For once , a pleasant and friendly guide who was also extremely knowledgeable. Don was the best of guides and held us captivated with his thorough knowledge of the city. We were told the tales behind each and every building he took us to. From the "salmon stories‘ to the story of the enchanting Dyveke, 80 minutes of the walking tour went by rather too soon. A time well spent. No better way to learn about the city. Hundred percent recommended.
