Arset Djenan, Marrakech, Morocco
View on Google MapsWe booked a quad bike ride with evening dinner and fire show. Hassan was our guide and was brilliant, a very careful driver. First of all we met at the checkpoint, we were staying quite a way from Marrakach so opted to meet at a car park on the outskirts which was very easy to find. We were 20 minutes early but Hassan was already here waiting for us, which was great as we could make an early start. At the Co-operative centre the short tour was good and the products are good quality and varied, however be careful as the prices are not marked and they are expensive. On to the quadbiking which was the highlight for us. The views were fantastic and the guide allowed us to go at a good speed, although was always checking we were OK. You can have a lot of fun in the dusty desert environment. Quadbiking was about 45 minutes and I liked the fact we could book one person per quad bike (many others on Viator put you in pairs). We then went for tea at a viewpoint which was lovely. Although the Agafay desert isnt sandy, it was still beautiful to ride on. We then drove on for dinner which was good. The dancing was fun, but did go on for some time (about an hour) and we then enjoyed the fireshow which was awesome. Overall we were out from 15.00 to 22.00 and the various location were no more than 10-20 minutes apart. It took about 40 minutes to get back from the final venue back to Marrakech. Overall a great trip which created some unique memories. Take a bit of money with you for tips as everyone provided great service. Thank you so much Hassan

Merci à Fatima pour l’accompagnement avant la prise en charge jusqu’au bout. Petite déception pour le quad, nous aurions aimé plus de sensations avec des moments où nous pouvons accélérer d’avantage. Le repas et le spectacle sont super
Fantastic experience. Jam packed, with excitement! Culture, music and smiles. The tour operators genuinely cared about what they are doing. Can not recommend enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The experience was awesome. Youssef, genuinely cared about each and every guest. We had a a lot of fun in the quads. The food was delicious, and the entertainment spot on ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a great exeperience. Beautiful landscape, great fun to drive the quads, amazing food and fun fire show and music. 1000% would reccomend. Our guide Hassan was also a wonderful guide. 10/10.
We were picked up at our hotel, out of the city on a golf resort, on time by our driver and our guide Zakaria. After about an hour, thr first stop was at an Argan Oil factory/ shop where we were given Moroccan tea, bread and Argan olive oil, honey and peanut butter to try. We were then shown how the Argan products were made and given some samples to try in the shop. There was no pressure to buy and just a short explanation of each without any expectation which was nice. From there, we drove another 15 minutes into the desert for the quad experience. Some of our group went on a camel trek but Zakaria stayed with us and took some photos of us with the mountains and landscape and told us some information about the Atlas Mountains and villages. The quad experience was brilliant with amazing sunset views. There is a stop for photos where the guides will take photos and videos for you on your own phone, again with no expectation of tips or payment. My only slight complaint is that one of our group was very slow on the quads which meant we couldn’t speed up but this couldn’t be helped. After the quads we went on to a lovely site in the desert with a swimming pool, tents and covered area where dinner is served. Our guide, Zakaria had phoned ahead when I said I was vegetarian and organised a separate vegetable tagine for me. There were 12 in our group and enough food to feed 20 easily! Vegetable cous cous and chicken tagine with bread, and bottles of water were provided. Everyone thought the food was delicious. The show was great, they got everyone involved and had us all up dancing by the end of the night. Having done similar trips in Egypt, I have to say this was a much more enjoyable, relaxed experience with no pushy sales or hidden costs. Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. We did a lot during our trip and both my sons said this was their favourite day.
This is great value for money and packs in a few good activities into one day. Aya, our guide today was really good and walked us through every step of the journey!
Great experience from start to finish. Riding our own quad through the Agafay Desert at sunset was unforgettable. The dinner under the stars, with traditional music and a fire show, made the evening perfect. Highly recommend!
Gave this trip 4 star, as wasn't quite as advertised. We were collected on time from our hotel and taken to the centre of Marrakech to meet the rest of our party. There was then alot of confusion around who was going in what mini bus and alot of money was exchanging hands amongst the locals. It was advertised that we would be given a complimentary bottle of water but this never happened, so ensure you carry water with you. We were then taken to Ourika Valley, this included a trip to an Argan oil shop (products expensive) and to a local Berber house. The guide there was very interesting. Then onto the start of the hike. Parts of the terrain are very steep and the ground very uneven. This is not suitable for those who do not like hikes or struggle with any form of exercise, as parts of this is quite challenging. The local guide for this part of the tour was fantastic and ensured that everyone in the party (14 people) were together at all times and assisted us over difficult parts, which included jumping small streams and navigating very steep parts. There are no handrails. Trainers or hiking boots are recommended along with sensible clothes. We climbed in November, though the sun was shining it was very chilly. The bit that's not advertised is that you pay your guide 30 dinar per person to go on the hike and this needs to be paid in cash at the end. The views and the waterfall are spectacular. We paid to have lunch which is at a restaurant alongside the river. This is a 3 course lunch with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend this trip.
A great trip! Ilyas was a superb guide and really helped my aunty navigate the climb up and down to the waterfalls which was very kind and much appreciated 🙂 would recommend!
