View on Google MapsThe walks in Swanetia were exceptionally beautiful and I was impressed by the scenery and hospitality as well as the atmosphere. With Mindia we had a good-hearted and humorous guide who knows a lot about Georgia's history and explained a lot of interesting things about Georgia. Overall it was a very nice and unforgettable trip.
The trip with Mindia was absolutely amazing. Mindia was very nice and professional. Join the 4 days’ svaneti tour was a brilliant idea, an efficient way for time and energy. Highly recommend this tour.
George is both a pro and a fun guy to be around. We checked about doing the hikes by ourselves, but having George around definately enriched our experience with his knowledge and selecting for us the best routes to go to the hikes and back. The hikes themselves were challenging enough while not being too difficult. The main problem we ran into was rain something I was not prepared enough for.

Travel with George! If you like good food, good mountains, good times you will not regret. Was originally just going to hike with him in Swaneti but enjoyed so much we extended the trip and also went to Kazbegi, Kutaisi, Vardzia, and Signaghi. He was very flexible, easygoing, knowledgeable, and a great person to travel with. Didi madloba!
6 years ago we've visited Georgia and did this trip on 4X4. This time we decided we will do it by foot. We, with 13 more friends, choose George from Pin Georgia to help us with all the arrangements and guide us through the Svaneti trails. Despite the number of persons, different demands for food and hiking skills, George and his team did the utmost to satisfy the group while we could keep enjoying the marvelous views of rivers, mountains, glaciers, old villages and incredible people leaving in the Svaneti. George and his team are professionals and didn't miss anything. every part of the trip was well organized, even the rest stops, hiking durance and safety. It was for me an unforgettable trip, where I promised to comeback again. George, Beka and Vito, keep on smiling and doing the good job.
we were a groups of 15 friends, all about 20 years older than Georgi, but on a vacation. great diversity of diet demands and physical fitness. Georgi and Beka contained us all, even on the days we had a single bathroom, toilet combined, shared between the entire group. Georgi came prepared with answers to our questions, and with flexibility to meet our demands. we all felt we are in good hands.
The track was a wonderful experience, the nurture plus the kind and professional guidance of Georgi Beka and Vito was something to be memorized. I recommend with all my hurt
Two days ago we returned, a group of 15 friends aged 50-60, in better physical shape than average, from a 4-day hike from Mestia to Ushguli. It's a beautiful and popular hike, but not too busy. The trip was organized by a tour company in Batumi called Pin Georgia, led by George Megrelidze. They organize trips in other areas as well. The preparations lasted about 4 months in which we corresponded by email and What's app. Already then I appreciated the quality of English, the openness to changes, the great respect for my requests (such as not driving in darkness, drivers avoid talking over the phone, dietary restrictions). On the trip itself, everything was smooth. We used a minibus. The drivers were highly careful. George was generous and responsible. For example, it was originally planned to have another guide who will walk at the end. But there were floods a few days before the hike, so George added a local mountain-boy who knew exactly where the road was drifting and how to get around. The end of July is a great time in terms of a relatively less rain, and the masses of flowers. Luckily, it rained at night once, and 10 minutes during the hike. It was around 20 degrees Celsius around noon. Every day we walked around 15 km, with an average of 500 m elevation gain. The accommodation is very basic. In some villages there were 6 people in a room, and in part one shower for the entire group, including the guides. It was nevertheless clean. We ate in the guest houses near the host family's house or in their living room (examples in pictures). They served breakfast and dinner and provided food for the day. A real problem is the lack of variety of food and having too much bread and Hachapuri 3 times a day. For those who care about eating fruits, vegetables beyond tomato and cucumber, or just would like to have a variety, it is recommended to bring extra food. Some of us bought in the town at the beginning of the route oranges, apples, etc. for the entire trip. In addition, there was hardly any milk.
