This was an Exceptional tour of the most important Buddhist temples around Bangkok and the extensive Royal Thai Palace grounds. We were fortunate to have an Excellent Guide, Pranee Nina who was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, humorous, and considerate of our interests and needs all day. She also took many excellent photos of us which she shared which was an added bonus. Ask for Nina!!
Aye was an incredibly informative and friendly tour guide who made our day in Bangkok truly memorable. She took us first to the beautiful flower market, where we had the unique experience of unfolding a lotus flower by hand. After that, she guided us through some of Thailand’s most iconic temples, explaining their history with clarity and enthusiasm. Her energy, patience, and kindness made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. Our driver, O, was also exceptionally professional throughout the tour. He drove safely, kept the car spotless, and always made sure we were comfortable between stops. His calm and courteous demeanor added an extra level of comfort to the day. Overall, we had an amazing time and felt very well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bangkok.
We had a very entertaining and very informative tour with Kim: without Kim we would never have seen so much of Bangkok in such a short time.
If we could rate 10 stars we would! Army was the best guide and provided a great experience for our family. We learned so much about Thai culture and saw a lot of beautiful temples. Having Army as our guide was like having an old friend around, very comfortable and warm spirit. Highly recommend!
The tour was amazing! Our guide Pom led us through Bangkok with great knowledge and warmth – from the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddha to the Flower Market and Chinatown. Everything was well organized, and using different transport modes made the experience even more authentic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Bangkok’s culture and temples!
Exploring Bangkok with Kim was the highlight of our trip. From the very first stop she made the city feel alive, mixing history with great stories and local insights. We started the morning wandering through the Flower Market, a riot of colours and scents with orchids, marigolds and jasmine everywhere. From there, Kim took us to the Grand Palace, a stunning complex of golden rooftops and intricate detail, and of course the sacred Emerald Buddha – one of the most important religious icons in Thailand. The next stop was Wat Pho, home to the famous 46-metre-long reclining Buddha. It’s hard to describe just how impressive it looks up close. Kim explained how the temple is also known as the birthplace of Thai massage, which made it even more fascinating. Afterwards, we crossed to the riverside to see the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), its tall porcelain-covered spires glistening in the sun. We ended the day in the lively streets of Chinatown, packed with street food stalls, shops and atmosphere. Kim even brought us to a place where Gordon Ramsay once learned to cook Thai food – complete with photos on the wall as proof. Kim was funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does. She turned a great day of sightseeing into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic day in Bangkok with our guide, Kim. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made every place we visited come alive with fascinating history and stories. We began at the bustling Flower Market (Pak Khlong Talad), where rows of orchids, marigolds, and fragrant jasmine garlands created an unforgettable sea of colour and scent. From there, we visited the Grand Palace, the city’s most iconic landmark and home to the magnificent Emerald Buddha, one of the most sacred images in Thailand. Next, we explored Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), famous for its impressive 46-metre-long reclining Buddha statue and reputation as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. This temple was my personal favourite – absolutely breathtaking. Our journey then took us to the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), with its striking porcelain-decorated spires rising beautifully on the riverside. To finish the day, Kim guided us through the vibrant streets of Chinatown, where she took us for lunch at a restaurant where Gordon Ramsay once learned to cook Thai food – with photos on the wall to prove it! Kim’s passion, humour, and deep knowledge made the whole experience so enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable day. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking to explore the cultural treasures of Bangkok.
