View on Google MapsWe took this trip at the very end of October with Solaine as our guide, who spoke great English. This trip really was the highlight of our holiday! Expectations were exceeded! We saw so many horses, and at one point were lucky enough to stroke one or two at the side of a field. We also saw camargue and Spanish bulls, and plenty of flamingos, albeit from a distance. We took binoculars which really helped. Solaine was so knowledgeable about the region, and we learned a lot about the horses, bull running, and rice cultivation. Our stop in St Maries de La Mer was also lovely, time for a toilet stop, a browse of a few shops, and magnificent views out to sea. I had never been in a jeep before, so don’t expect comfort in the back! But, with the roof down and the wind in your hair, we found this to be an unforgettable experience. Thank you !
Our tour guide Dorian was fantastic!! Friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. And the George’s were great too!

Very good and interesting tour. We were able to see so much of the Camargue and its wildlife. Solenne was fun and friendly and explained in detail about the region in very good English.
Camargue is now rice growing and farming, so no longer wild. Pilgrims walk through. Learnt a lot about dealing with salt water. Excellent guide Olivier.
Great experience, one that tourists would never be able to do on their own. Dorian, a native of Arles, is an encyclopaedia of the area and took the time to stop to explain what we were seeing along the way: Camargue horses, bulls, rice fields (yes, believe it or not), small ranches and left enough time to look at the azur blue Mediterranean at Stes-Marie-de-la-Mer - “safari incontournable” - not to be missed.
An enjoyable and well run tour of the Camargue. Our guide, Olivier, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the traditions, culture, farming, animals and environment of the Camargue. Recommended
very good guide. we learn a lot about the area. it's perfect. also, the guide advises you on places according to your affinities.
We could not have done this on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. She knew the flora and fauna, the history, and the heritage. The tour was perfectly balanced, and the timing worked beautifully. It was interesting and fun. Thank you for a wonderful experience, which we will never forget!
Michel was a wonderful guide. So passionate about his love for the Camargue and the history and culture and nature. He was so eager to share his extensive knowledge with us through winding trails and back roads. We couldn’t have done this as well on our own.
Wonderful scenery and nature, pity the guide made up stories - utterly shocked to be told that global warming is not going to impact the sea level of the Mediterranean and thus not going to impact the Camargue. Please also consider the needs of your clients by allowing use of your toilet facilities at the stop in the villiage - especially for the price.
