View on Google MapsI’m truly grateful for this snowshoeing trip. It was a wonderful and joyful experience, and I felt very warmly taken care of throughout the entire journey. The guide shared a lot of interesting knowledge about moose, umbrella plants, and the surrounding snow-covered mountains, which really enriched the experience and made the trip much more meaningful and engaging. For me, this activity was especially fun and exciting, because it was something I had never tried before. If you’re worried about joining alone, don’t be — the guide is kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported the whole time. I highly recommend this experience. It left me with unforgettable memories, and I’m truly thankful for this trip. If I have the chance, I would absolutely join again next time.
Highly recommend doing this with Matt. He took us through the most beautiful snowshoe hike of our lives. The tea at the end truly made the day magical. Great experience from the very beginning and I highly recommend.

Some parts of the trail are steep and hilly, placing additional stress on areas of the body not impacted by level terrain. Not recommended for those with cardiac or respiratory issues/illness. I had an incredible time snowshoeing with Matt! Luckily, we had some fresh snow the day before and it was perfect! He was great at helping to show how to use the equipment. Matt is very knowledge about Alaska, its animals, and vegetation - you will learn a lot! So grateful this company was willing to take solo travelers too!
Our guide Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and a good sense of humor. He taught us how to use the snow shoes and allowed us challenge ourselves with different terrain.
The views are amazing. Guide is very knowledgeable and nice to talk to. Nature is beautiful! Snow, ocean, mountain and all this in one place!
Wonderful way to spend several hours in Anchorage. Especially if you enjoy being active and outside, this tour and the company that runs it is top drawer. Fresh air, fantastic scenery, and nature at it's best. If you want to sit in an armchair and be entertained, this tour is not for you! LOL Incredible, invigorating, and memorable.
Mike was a caring, energetic, and well-informed guide who made the whole experience so engaging and comfortable! We had a blast snowshoeing through the Glen Alps and learned several new fun facts about the landscape. Highly recommend for anyone who likes hiking and want to try out winter hiking! The view of the city from atop is spectacular

I did the Beginner Snowshoeing hike and it was perfection!! Matt was the best guide who didn't even laugh when I fell over in the carpark!! He carried my camera for me, taking photos (see below) and passing it over when I needed it. We caught a glimpse of a moose which was pretty special. I come from Australia and was in awe of the mountains and so much snow. This also made me a complete amateur on snowshoes and Matt was very helpful and encouraging. Do yourself a favour and take this tour - or the advanced snowshoe adventure if you have the skills. It was an absolute highlight of my trip.
