View on Google MapsIt was a total joy to spend 3 hours with Jerry today and learn from his vast knowledge of this beautiful city. What a tour guide. We felt like we had been in the city for so much longer than 3 hours and loved every minute. Thank you.
Jerry made our walking tour a genuine highlight of the trip. From the moment we met, he was warm, organised, and clearly passionate about the city. What really stood out was how thorough he was: the route felt thoughtfully planned, and he took the time to explain the “why” behind what we were seeing, history, culture, architecture, and how Amsterdam has changed over time. Jerry’s knowledge goes way beyond the usual facts. He seemed to know every local story tied to the streets we walked, and he shared them in a way that brought the city to life, with little details, legends, and anecdotes you’d never find by googling. He also gave practical tips along the way (great spots to revisit, things to avoid, and how to experience Amsterdam like a local), which was incredibly useful. We never felt rushed, and he was happy to answer questions and tailor parts of the tour to what we were curious about. I genuinely recommend requesting Jerry, he’s engaging, knowledgeable, and makes you see Amsterdam with fresh eyes!
Wow what a fantastic tour we had with Jerry. Learnt so much about Amsterdam that we wouldnt have if we tackled it by ourselves. Highly recommend. He even laughed at my husbands jokes.
Jerry was a wonderful tour guide! We learned the 750 year history of Amsterdam as we walked along the cobblestone streets. We saw the Palace, Rembrandt’s House, the Master’s Guild building, the floating flower market and so many more interesting places. If you are looking for a tour pointing out interesting places in Amsterdam while explaining the fascinating history of the city, this is the tour for you.
Jerry was a great guide. He made a cold rainy day into a fantastic tour, we learnt so much about the history of Amsterdam and lots of interesting insights about the city that we wouldn’t have found out on our own. He is very knowledgeable and very happy to share tips with us. Highly recommend doing his tour.
As an expat living in the Netherlands I’ve always wanted to discover more about Amsterdam and taking a walking tour seemed like the perfect way to do it. Jerry’s walking tour did not disappoint. It was the perfect mix of facts and fun as he told us about so many things and did so in a light, interesting way. And in about 3 hours, we saw so many things in different areas of the city. I would have never found a lot of these on my own. Highly recommended.
I took the Highlights Hidden Gems and History Tour in Amsterdam with Jerry, and it was fantastic. Jerry was funny, kind, and full of great stories that brought the city to life. Jerry shared stories and details about Amsterdam’s history and culture that I never would’ve noticed on my own. The mix of well-known highlights and tucked-away spots made the tour both informative and personal. Highly recommend this walking tour with Jerry. Thanks so much Jerry for making this trip memorable!
Jerry was an outstanding guide and the tour goes throughout the oldest parts if Amsterdam. I recommended it.
We 4 Aussies embarked on Jerry’s tour on a sunny Autumn day. We followed him around beautiful Amsterdam while he shared fun and interesting stories about the city he clearly loves. At the end of the tour we all agreed it was a wonderful way to get to know Amsterdam. Bonus, we met Jerry who is a legend! We recommend 100%.
Jerry’s Amsterdam Highlights, Hidden Gems and History Tour lives up to its title as it is the perfect mix of facts, fun and lots of surprises. The tour covers alot of ground as there are many stops in both the old harbor area and in the canal ring. This really helped me get my bearings for exploring the city further on my own. Jerry’s enthusiasm and passion for Amsterdam comes through in his storytelling, especially in his funny tales about what it’s like to live there. Since we were a small group, Jerry even added in snack stops where we ate the best cookies in all of Amsterdam and sampled bitterballen during our half-way pause. Jerry’s friendliness deep knowledge and sense of fun made this tour a real entertaining introduction to Amsterdam.
