View on Google MapsFrom the Moment Johnny (the owner of the farm) Picked us up in Alta it became a truly magical and memorable experience. We arrived at the farm with a wodnerful greeting from our guide Fenna. A young Dutch lady working at this farm In Norway who spoke near perfect English. A very knowledgeable, extremely interesting confident young person, by the time we finished our journey we felt as though we had know her for years. We met our horse and Fenna made sure we were warm in the cold weather suits provided and the reindeer skin blankets. Once she had made sure we were totally comfortable we made ready to set off. Our incredible journey through the forest, along the river bank and with a view of the mountains with the frozen waterfalls was remarkable. We reached the end of the trail and turned around to return to the farm and stopped at a little hut about half way back to the farm. Fenna made a fire, which was very much appreciated as temperatures now well below zero. The fire roared and coffee was made accompanied by warm berry juice, with an optional Norweigan Reindeer snack to experience a new taste. little did we know that owners wife had sent some homemade cinnamon buns which were warming by the fire in foil. They were amazing a very warm and welcomed treat, to end our wonderful snack and chat with Fenna. With a short tirp back to the farm as the daylight dwindled perfectly finished a truly magical wonderful experience, Thank you all so much for warming our hearts and enriching our lives :)

Great experience and was kept well informed by owner. Everything went smoothly and on time. Very relaxing ride with a lovely horse. Food was good too.
We absolutely loved our evening at Flatmoen Natur. We had a horse drawn carriage ride through the countryside, followed by a delicious meal by the fire in a charming wooden structure. A very cozy experience. We were lucky enough to catch sight of the Northern Lights, too! A perfect evening with the wonderful staff!
This tour was overbooked for their capacity so 1/2 the group sat around a fire pit for an 1.5 hours waiting for the 1st group to come back. You end up in a wagon that only takes you back on the same road that you drove in on. It was very disappointing as we were expecting to see backroad country landscapes. Perhaps with snow it's a better option. Staff was very nice and friendly.
From start to finish, this experience was amazing, pick up and drop off at the port was perfect. The ride was wonderful, our guide Tina was funny, friendly and professional, the food she cooked us on the open fire was delicious. The whole experience was magical and I would do it all again in a heart beat, Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
Absolutely amazing trip, picked up from the cruise terminal, journey to the farm was great, some lovely views, whole experience amazing, met the horses, sat with a lovely couple in the sleigh, had very warm blanket over us, the scenery on the ride was amazing, well informed local stories, stopped along the way and had cinnamon buns cooked on the open fire and hot berry juice and coffee, and lovely ride back, so glad we did it.
The team were amazing it’s an awesome family business that have seen the niche in the market and been able to set up their business to support and expand on opportunities , a very personal and professional experience and I would highly recommend.from the personal pickup at our boat to the cinnamon scrolls made by the operators wife it’s first class.very relaxing and amazing way to see the countryside and gain local knowledge
Beautiful experience, super friendly as we have been received, worry about your warm clothes in case you travel in winter season as we did, excellent food, beautiful walk under the stars!! a MUST-SEE excursion and more than recommended!!
