Almaty Walking Food Tour

If you love food this is the tour for you. I told the tour guide I really wanted some local local food which I got.

We had an excellent time on the tour. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone visiting Almaty.

We booked a walking tour with Gulzat for the start of our 10-day holiday in Kazakhstan and it was a great call. Gulzat showed us a lot of Almaty's history as we walked through the beautiful park, helped us buy various items to try at the Green Bazaar, and introduced us to so many delicious Kazakh dishes over a bountiful lunch. An excellent tour of the city with the added bonus of great food and chocolates. She guided us through the city sites with great explanations of all the historical references. Lunch in the Kazakh restaurant was outstanding. Thanks for a great time.

Great tour, very sympathetic guide who transferred her love for the city of Almaty to me, individual design of the course, I learned and experienced a lot. Highly recommended !

This was the first activity we did on our kazhaksthan trip, and Gulzar our guide, made us feel at home. She took us on a walking tour around the city in and around the panfilov street while telling us about the history of the place. After lots of walking more than an hour or two, we had a great kazak lunch with all the authentic local dishes. A nice way to start our trip.

It was a very fun and interesting walking tour and we learned a lot about Almaty and Kazakh culture. Would highly recommend if you want to get a feel for the city and its people.

Thank you Gulzat for your help! Were in snowfall, so on the excursion to the mountains abstained, but in Almaty with a wonderful tour guide, the local historian Madi, with pleasure strolled. We learned many interesting facts about the history of the city, the country, looked at architectural monuments! Still reading about many of the city's illustrious figures.
