Every late-night question was answered on WhatsApp within ten minutes by Rania in Cairo—routes, dietary requests, even money-exchange tips. On the ground the trip ran like clockwork and cost exactly what the transparent quote promised. That reliability made our holiday feel effortless.
Street-food tasting wasn’t in the brochure, yet driver-chef Mustafa insisted we sample koshari and sugar-cane juice between sites. He queued with locals so we paid local prices, then taught us to pronounce “shukran” correctly. Those ten messy, delicious minutes beneath a fig tree are now my family’s favourite Egypt memory. Five stars just isn’t enough.
Travelling with two kids (7 & 10) can be tricky, yet guide Farah turned every stop into a treasure hunt. At Saqqara the children “discovered” Imhotep’s name on a column; at the Citadel they “defended” Cairo with wooden swords Farah bought from a stall. Even the bazaar became a game of Arabic number spotting. Adult brains were fed too: Farah wove together dynasties, crusaders and modern politics with enviable clarity. The day cost less than a theme-park ticket and educated us far more.

Riding camels across the desert ridge to the little-visited Monastery of Saint Simon felt like stepping into a film set. Bedouin wrangler Salem handled the animals gently and told stories of his tribe’s life between Cairo and Sinai. Sunset painted the limestone pink and we were the only group in sight. If you want a memory that stays long after souvenirs fade, book this tour.

This is the best option for an instruction and genuinely private tour of the Giza Pyramids. With entrance costs, pick-up and drop-off included, as well as a surprisingly tasty lunch, it offers excellent value. Muhammad, our tour guide, made sure we were comfortable and safe. He was very kind and informed. We had a fun camel ride and saw some amazing vistas of the Memphis open-air museum, the Giza pyramids, tomb complexes, and Saqqara's step pyramid. A highlight was the lunch, which included some of the greatest grilled chicken around
I had the pleasure of experiencing a trip to Egypt with Travel2egypt last week I stayed for 10 days and went on various tours and a lovely cruise. I have to say I have never experienced a trip as great and so professionally organized as this one. The guide who I first met had very positive energy and spirits. I did not expect to have such a wonderful time in Egypt the way we had. Great history and beautiful enourmous sites. The nile river cruise was charming and our guide Mr. Yasser speaks Chinese better thamn me. :) On behalf of my all family members I want to thank all of you. Li Hsing
