You have the option to visit upstairs in the statue and can see the beautiful dam. Apart from this you can enjoy the light and sound show in the evening plus you can go for the Arti which happens at the bank of Narendra. You can also enjoy the cruise ride in the evening along with the option for dinner.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and could tell us losts of information about India and the history of the statue of unity. He was always checking to make sure we were comfortable. The only disappointing thing was the taxi was late picking us up in the morning and then we needed to get gas ⛽️.
The statue of unity is a lovely excursion from Ahmedabad. The statue is spectacular and imposing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the contribution of Sardar Patel in unifying India. The statue is decided to him. The tour included a lovely indian lunch. Highly recommended .
